Sounds like the worst and I didn't even listen to it!

Really, you think this is the worst? This is pretty cool aside from the goofy drum machine. Sounds like Liturgy mixed with The Number Twelve Looks Like You.

That's a remarkably accurate comparison which also reflects how terrible it is. It's not the worst sounding, but I wasn't the first one to think it shamelessly ripped off "Rock and Roll All Nite."

One day I walked up on the greatest stage on earth to accept my inauguration as President of the United States of America! As some ugly hag warbled out the worst version ever sung of the worst song ever written, I sauntered on up to the microphone snatched it away before the last bars had barely faded out! A bunch of TV media pundits were droning on about the peaceful transition of power when the cameras turned towards me and all the rubes of America suddenly realized the man they thought they'd voted for was in actual fact a 12 foot tall, nude, roided-out behemoth whose imposing visage bespoke his cyclopean power! I held out my hand in an iron salute and laid it upon George Washington's Bible, with the original US Constitution folded up inside, which instantly burst into flames and turned to ash! I then lifted a hand to my face and pulled off the dollar store Trump wig revealing a facial tattoo of an ISIS hood with a Russian flag in the center! "Thanks for the country, retards!" I screamed! "As my very first act, I declare climate change false and holocaust denial true! I've also declared war on every nation and defunded the VA!" I then dropped the mic and walked off into the sunset towards Martha's Vinyard for a beer summit with Netenyahu! The End!

I mean, I'm not saying I don't believe you, but Martha's Vineyard is to the east of DC. If you had departed towards the sunset, wouldn't that have meant that you were going in the wrong direction?

What is with the drummer of Sevendust in their live shows? Dude is embarrassing with all his on stage ADHD antics. Oh look everybody I play the drumkit standing up, y'all. Oh look I'm wearing a schoolboy uniform and I'm crossing my leg while hitting the bass drum. SMH.

Evidently he did a good job of distracting you from the fact that Sevendust were playing.

^I was going to be seeing them but Dagon got turned away at the Canadian border. I might still go to see Mayhem but ehhhh, Inquisition was the real draw for me.

Looks like they have a few more Canada shows coming up, maybe there's still hope for him to get in for those. I wonder what the big problem is, he doesn't have any trouble going overseas apparently.

Morta Skuld rocks. Especially when they get out the Suffocation vibes. "Dying Remains" almost has a too clean sound though (compared to effigy and human waste), but it's okay.

I really wanted to see Inquisition, but I'm always fucking busy with school when a band I like comes to perform nearby. So infuriating.

Yeah, I want to see them too but I knew they were not gonna cross the borders and I don't care for Mayhem so I went to see Alcest again instead!

I wanted to make it to the Inquisition/Mayhem gig but my car is having trouble again. :crash:

I saw Morta Skuld once. They were totally disinterested and put on a really mediocre performance. And then they left like two minutes after the show. A friend I was with ran back to the car to get his wallet so he could buy a CD, but they were gone before he came back. The car was a block away.

Every other gig in the world can fuck off right now! Simply because, after twenty yeas of waiting/wanting to see them, Primordial are finally coming down under in July. Tickets have already been purchased.

Awwww yeah.

Out of curiosity, how much (pointless) work does Sloth make for the moderators and administrators of this site? Because if ever a band deserved to be blacklisted for that alone, they'd seem to take the cake.

The only work I've had to put into the band so far is checking their early discography for sludge metal and addressing 2-3 posts arguing for their deletion. As far as the singles are concerned, certain users seem to have that covered.

EDIT: Ah well, I also changed their genre and added a note about the noise shenanigans. Guess they got me there.

Amateur, I went to see Cannibal Corpse on the night of my maths test! And I did great in it. And I usually suck at maths.

It has been scientifically proven that attending a Cannibal Corpse concert before a maths test significantly improves one's capacity, thus leading to significantly better results.

Inquisition was great as always, setlist was shorter than expected, only 8 songs which I just updated on setlistfm. For once though I must say Inquisition didn't steal the show, Mayhem was fucking epic. Yeah, Atilla is awesome and his vocal style now is so much more wicked than the studio recording. He makes lots of inhuman noises, sometimes a weird screaming growl that lasts like 3 minutes, then he hits those chorus chants perfectly out of nowhere. Overall he just sounds and looks really fucking crazy.

he made uhh...."My Death" fucking AMAZING when i saw it. that "odium humani generis" was turned into this ghostly chant whilst he swung a noose around.

I will add on the praise for Atilla. I saw them in 2016, and while the "special evening" was marked by the guest appearance of Maniac, Atilla was just inhuman. Going through all the vocal styles and just sounding gigantic.

I'm looking forward to see him perform with Sunn in March (the day after my birthday!), it's gonna be nuts. I've never seen them and missed out last year. March will be stacked with gigs with this, Uada, All Them Witches, Dinosaur Jr, Entheos (great QCBM) and possibly Nails.

uBlock Origin and Origin Extra are OG. They're still "adblockers" so pretty much any website that detects and tells you turn it off will still probably tell you to do so.

John Sunlight posts a series of rambling nonsensical creative writing stories and I post one particularly humorous quote from The Simpsons and it's thread locking material.

Point taken. I'll start putting up pointless political-leaning creative writing stories consistently and solely for Why.

mayhem playing DMDS was way better than i expected. While i am not the biggest fan of the album as in i just consider it very good instead of total classic. They pretty much nailed it completely. My only gripe was that there were too many pauses in between songs. If they just played the songs more quickly hey could have played deathcrush or something after instead of adding 20 min of BS.

No considering DMDS an untouchable classic is mind-boggling. I'm so hoping they return next year for a repeat.

I looked up tickets for that show, and it's absurdly inexpensive ($25 both in advance and DOS at the door). There's no reason for anyone that likes that album to not go to it.

$20 in Poughkeepsie, sold out in NYC. Haven't been to Poughkeepsie in long enough that I think going there might be a good idea.
