I really like Hush, even though he's a walking cliche.

He's a badass, but cliche like you said.

How about Calender Man?

I'd love to see Bale take on Bane; he'd definitely be my first choice for the next antagonist. Barring that, Clayface would be awesome.

The question is: who'd play him? It's hard to find an actor that is both huge (like, homoerotic B movie huge) and can properly portray Bane's subtle, manipulating, intellectual character naturally.

Stallone? Unfortunately, he's not terribly Hispanic.

Man that is a good question. How many very large and muscular and also good actors are out there?

Also he doesn't even need to be hispanic, Bane iirc never removes his mask.

I know, the only alternative would be ridiculously beefing up a good, tall actor (Ralph Fiennes? I can't think of anyone else at the moment) and perhaps adding digital effects when he uses the Venom to power himself up (and even that feels kind of extreme).

Of course, there's also the black guy that played Kingpin on Daredevil, but...

If that is so, Bale can play Bane and batman in the same go!

I understand if this is not appropriate for the thread and needs to be deleted. With all the Batman talk I had to attempt to post it. If it needs to be deleted I understand.

This will make sense if you remember the plot from the first Batman movie

What's this talk about Batman being lame in this new movie? He brought in 500 people to jail, essentially. He tied up Scarecrow & co. and left them for the cops too.

The Dark Knight was friggin amazing...

For the next film, I think the Riddler would be the best villain. However, I do NOT want to see the campy Riddler (Frank Gorshin/Jim Carrey). I want him to be a more sinister and cerebral character. I imagine him as a guy who plays mind games with the police. Think Simon from "Die Hard 3" mixed with the villain in "Seven", and you would have a good idea of how I'd like to see him portrayed.

I also would like to see Black Mask as a villain someday. A guy who kills his own parents to get their fortune, and then carves a mask from their sarcofagus is pretty twisted. He also works well as a mirror/opposite of Bruce Wayne, and can be a corporate enemy as well.

I have several old vhs recordings from when I was a kid with the old Batman cartoon and I am watching them as I type this. I will probably get flamed for suggesting it but I would like to see a serious film adaptation of The Mad Hatter.

I forgot his name but I think he will be the best villain ever

He looks like a boring monotone man, with a puppet that's dressed like a gangster, and since he has 2 personalities, the puppet is the evil one.

Anyone know who I'm talking about?

For the people that saw The Dark Knight, what did you think of the Watchmen trailer? It looked pretty sweet to me. Now I plan on reading that graphic novel, since many sources state on how good and influencial it is.

But I've heard many people, who are fans of the series, think that the movie will suck ass. What you guys think?

The Watchman graphic novel is incredible. I would advise reading it as soon as possible. The movie I am optimistic about.

I was just bracing myself for it, In my experiance he has never been the most popular of villains but someone I always enjoyed for reasons I am not to entirely sure of.

I actually thought the Watchmen trailer was for The Flash movie at first, and was severely let down when it wasn't.

What made you think it was a trailer for The Flash?

The lightning in the room with the guy towards the beginning of the trailer, crawling on his arm. It just seemed they might have altered his origin somewhat.

It was obvious it wasn't Flash when the vehicle came hovering out of the water though.

Ah. Actually that's somewhat reasonable because the origin of flash was explained a bit more in Crisis on Infinite Earths, and it involved him getting hit by a blast of lightning (which was actually himself from the future; really fucking weird).

It's good and definitely a required reading if you are into comics, but it wouldn't hurt to read through it more then once since it is a bit dense as far as comics go.

I'm going through it for a third time right now.

Our theatre didn't get the Watchmen trailer, we got a trailer for Frank Miller's The Spirit instead. My friends in a different theatre were talking about how awesome Watchmen looked, though.

Bangor, Maine. We had 4 different screens or whatever Thursday night, and I'm pretty sure it showed Watchmen in 2 and The Spirit in the other 2.

Yeah, the newer, darker version can work really well. He could actually be a pretty scary character. I'm not sure that he could be a main villain, but deffinately a supporting villain.

Also, I have heard from several sources that Christopher Nolan wants to have Catwoman in the third film.

I actually have a post about that on my website after the brief review I did here :)

I am so excited for the 3rd installment!

Wasen't that rumor made a year ago? I've read other sources that have said that David S. Goyer and Jonathan Nolan (story/screenplay) is not intrested in doing a movie with Penguin or Catwoman.

I would like to see The Riddler, but there's dozens of villians that they could choose from, and I have a feeling they will choose a more obscure villian. Much like Ra's Al Ghul or Scarecrow in the first movie.

They don't want to work with characters that have appeared in previous Batman films, simple as that. The Joker was an exception because he's as iconic to the Batman franchise as the Detective himself.

Ah, okay. That sounds about right because where I used to live in Massachusetts, the theaters would switch around trailers. Dunno why, though.

Just saw the new Futurama movie. Its pretty good If I say so myself. I like the story line, and the relation between the friendship of Fry and Bender kinda made me sad, like Fry's dog.

I still haven't seen the first one, but people said it was crap. So, if your into a good cartoon laugh and cannot find it on the new post 2000 Simpson episode or Family Guy, then get this movie.

I'd give it a 4/5

EDIT: David Cross is also in it, so that makes it more awesome.

You talking about Beast With A Billion Backs or whatever it's called? I want to see it, too. The first one was okay, but I think the Simpsons Movie was better.

Harvey Dent "Two-Face", not as much. It is difficult to understand what they want to do after this film because of their contradictions from past statements.
