Yes, except you just need to add some Beowulf concepts in too. I mean, you could've at least named King Hrothgar something else, eh?

I think I may have found one of those bizarre and niche websites that makes you think you've found the end of the internet http://www.spoiledrottendoggies.com/costumes.htm (don't worry it is safe for work)

I actually asked someone who doesn't listen to metal on forum what was his favourite band because i mistook his Brandon Lee avatar to be a black metal band photo.

Regarding the opposite sex and their tastes in things, it isn't required for a fellow to like metal, but if he ends up accidentally making me feel intellectually superior to him whilst flirting with me, instant turnoff. Sorry, but I have developed an impatience for men who can't keep up in conversation.
I once stupidly dated a guy with only the shallowest and most mundane interests and it was the most boring and unfulfilling relationship I can imagine. That ended quickly.

It's half Star Wars and half Wheel of Time. Though the same could be said about Harry Potter

I actually got some mild enjoyment out of the first book. The second was awful though. Especially the opening. They killed off that one king within what, 5 pages? And he was a major character in the first book. It all feels rushed and shitty. But of course, it's amazing and fantasmical because it has draginz.

My corner of Ohio is literally a storybook winter wonderland right now because of the snow and ice storms last night--and the snow is still coming down pretty heavily. I'm going to rummage around for a camera and take some photos--some of the younger trees around here are literally bent over from the weight of the ice!

I know, man. I mean just because they can't get past the fact that you gave Night of the Stormrider a positive review.

"Hey, gringo, there's that Nhorf boy, he gave Iced Earth a positive review, let's not talk to him"... except in Mexican or whatever shit you speak.

But yeah, it's really important that a girl has to have good conversational skills. I was dis-heartened over Christmas when birdwotIfancy/ied was often too drunk to maintain a decent conversation. I care if it's intellectual or not, but is coherency too much to ask for?

Why should I've said it earlier? (pretty sure there's a grammar mistake here!)

Anyways, Larks' Tongues in Aspic is an excellent record, I'm getting into it at last. And there's even some pretty heavy stuff hidden here.

Sleep-deprived and high on caffeine, I'm desperately trying to study Swedish and to learn as much as possible before I fall asleep on my desk. Nice language and all, but I'm somehow more motivated to just slack off and do something fun for change, especially since my Swedish teacher is about as entertaining as a sloth on valium.

I want to learn Swedish. But English is usually spoken here, and I probably still need to learn how to be better at that.

Jesus fucking christ, I just listened to "Bleed" off Meshuggah's new album. It has over 1,178,000 plays on their Myspace. Who the FUCK wants to listen to the same riff with barely any variation for 5 minutes with maybe a minute and a half of holding down single notes on a keyboard?

Twilight series; shitty books or shittiest books?

Both...at once. That's just how bad they are.

Are those the tacky vampire ones? Have they been made into a film recently? I'm sorry for the questions it's just I can't actually use google, wikipedia or any related website without entering "I'm waiting for the new Virgin Steele album at the library, when will it be released? Who are you and where's my mum?" etc. But yeah, supposing this is true I suppose they could serve some function if you wished to pull pre-teen girls with a disposition for vampire tat and nail-polish.

Yeah, that's them. I've never actually read them or anything, so I can't comment too much, but Let the Right One In is so much better anyway.

Ha, my flat mates were talking were talking about how awesome the film was. I may agree to watch it if only they watch Braindead the next night. Damn, I'm sick of Hollywood trying to ruin Vampires - Christopher Lee is not impressed! I do find teenage girl fanfiction - especially of the Harry Potter variety, you know Ron poos on Hermonie's chest and such - incredibly entertaining.

Motorhead just annouced their November UK tour, it's inevitable as the falling leaves in terms of both regularity and awesomeness. I hope they do 'Another Perfect Day' again, you heard that one yet, Emmareal?

Haha, this movie doesn't ruin vampires or anything of the sort, it is a great movie, with the vampirism only being a small part of the plot. I'll have to doubt your film taste if you hate it!

And... No, but I will soon. I keep saying that.

Here comes the overswelled national pride...

How can you guys stand your own language? I fucking hate portuguese. It's been 4 years now that I live and breathe the Portuguese lifestyle but I can't stand that horrible choking sound that is supposed to be a language. Seriously, I wish you guys had the same accent as some brazilian cities, that would make it much more appeasing.

That's the one song I really, really like from Meshuggah. I really can't get into them at all, nor can I listen to an album all the way through. But "Bleed" is a pretty badass song, I don't know what compels me but the rhythm and riff is just so headbangable. And I can't get into his voice too much, but his yells are pretty sweet in that song.

I kind of liked the Meshuggah song, but the Angel Dust one rapes it ten times over. One of the best modern PM songs.

Bleed is an extremely awesome Meshuggah track, and one of the best on obZen.

My cousin is currently taking courses to learn German, and he had once taught me how to say "Shut the fuck up you fruit salad!" (he has an affinity for nonsensical insults), and one of my teachers from school taught me how to say "Somebody took a shit in my briefcase!". Despite the inherent usefulness of the two phrases, I forgot them both.

Yeah, but "extremly awesome Meshuggah track" is roughly equal to "average Toby Keith track" in terms of quality...
