Well, if you ever listen to German rap, you will know what I mean. Sounds pretty porn-like, pretty vulgar, just German.

It's a fucking hot pocket, obviously it will taste terrible. Eating hot pockets is worse for your health than smoking and drinking.

Is it just me, or do I get the impression that a whole fuckton of posts have gone missing?

Oh noes... My life is ruined now!

EDIT:

Also, the no topics for this post bug seems to have gotten a lot worse, which is to be expected I guess since the posts that were there were probably lost in the hardware crash. Perhaps some topics should be locked though. Not sure exactly how bad it is or if it will go away...

At least the boards are back up though...

Great, now this thread has the "No posts exist for this topic" glitch for latest page.. :grumble:

Might as well lock this one and make a new FFA thread.

Heads up for Chasm fans. NWNprod.com has Conjuration of the Spectral Empire and Reaching the Veil of Death for five dollars each. As a side note they also have Infinitum Obscure's "Internal Dark Force", also five dollars. I think its safe to say I love the guy that runs that site.

Also, I'd just like to say thank fucking god metal-archives is back online. I'm normally not the type to become co-dependent on a website but work was fucking crawling today. I had even resorted to reading anus, having never actually experienced the so called "pretentiousness" for myself.

Seconding this. Having this glitch on a thread that moves as fast as the FFA is gonna be fucking annoying.

It's possible that the glitch will dissipate once it fills out with enough posts, though that hasn't always worked.

I'm guessing the hard drive failure deleted my post about my latest trip to the CD store. Anyway Here is what I picked up:

Aborted - The Archaic Abattoir
Amon Amarth - The Crusher
Bolt Thrower - In Battle There Is No Law
Death - Live in L.A. (Death & Raw)
Ensiferum - Ensiferum
Ensiferum - Iron
Gojira - The Way of All Flesh
Immortal - At the Heart of Winter
Karl Sanders - Saurian Meditation
Megadeth - Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?
Misery Index - Traitors
Obituary - Cause of Death
Obituary - Frozen in Time

I still can't believe I actually picked up an Immortal CD. A year ago I hated them for some reason, but this album I really seem to enjoy.

I don't know about that, but I might also throw in Ares Kingdom's Return to Dust. Great fucking album.

I can't come to a decision on Ares Kingdom. On paper, everything about it should be to my liking, but when I listen to songs on their myspace they just don't grab me. Its funny to me that those cds are more expensive because they are on his label, but I guess I understand that.

YOUR MOTHER doesn't exist for this topic :fuck:

So today I had a photoshoot for my band (consisting of just me, technically making it a "solo project") today, out in the fields. I'm looking forward to how they turn out.

Jesus fucking christ, I just listened to "Bleed" off Meshuggah's new album. It has over 1,178,000 plays on their Myspace. Who the FUCK wants to listen to the same riff with barely any variation for 5 minutes with maybe a minute and a half of holding down single notes on a keyboard?

I wouldn't want to listen to what you described, but I do like "Bleed." To say that there's barely any variation in the riff is just incorrect. Seriously, Meshuggah are by no means a perfect band, but they write very interesting material as a result of their unique sense of rhythm. I think they only get so much flak on this board because they're so unusual.

It didn't fix the glitch with the video game thread and it isn't gonna help this time. Likewise, I still vote for locking it and starting a new one to kill that annoying "No posts" problem.

Page 437 and 438 give this problem, if this keeps going on with it, people are going to have to dig back to page 436 in order to post!

On other word, my 17yo brother is being a dick (general behavior as of late) and thinks he lives in a "mean" family when he only has a partial high school education and no job.

Between the top two reviewers on the site, hells_unicorn has given out 60 100% scores, while Noktorn has given out 7.

Got really drunk last night, after wanting to just relax. This morning I feel like shit...could have something to do with me throwing my guts up, too. :ugh: It was a good night, though. I feel like something greasy.

At least I can still listen to music without upturning my stomach. :D

 MikeyC.

I was in the same situation 2 days before. The result? I woke up about 80 kilometers away from home (probably, I had taken the bus early in the morning, paid the ticket, and just slept inside). I can't even imagine it ...!

When the forum first came back online, there was only one page in this thread with problems. Now there's two. I think it's safe to say it's not gonna go away and that it's time for a new FFA.

 Luckily for me, this drinking session was across the road, so it was a 30 second walk back to my place when we were done.

I could just imagine the bus driver's thoughts of you on his bus. ;)

I think I'm beginning to enjoy kettle corn more than movie-style popcorn. Don't get me wrong, buttery salty stuff can be good but I'm just kind of sick of it now. That said, I'm tempted to buy a Tascam FW 1884 I found on Craigslist. It would help a bunch with doing some home recordings. They look like this:

I am digging this Anubis Gate debut, thanks rexxz. Seriously cool riffs and grooving rhythms, like if Crimson Glory met Pagan's Mind and decided to produce some balls-out, catchy Heavy Metal. Just great.

I fucking love Nokturnal Mortum, the re-playability for their albums is excellent. They just get better with more listens.

me and my friends are starting airsoft, and we all need guns so in order to keep it even, we set limits.

$50 maximum/gun
400 FPS (.12g) maximum
Spring only (unless mini electric)

I am thinking about a M14 ($35)
http://www.airsplat.com/Items/AR-M14-M160-B2.htm
- Spring M14 M160BA2 Spring Airsoft Pellet Rifle
- Capacity: 37 Rounds
- 390 fps (0.12 g BB) / 280 fps (0.2g BB) / 150-175 feet
- Adjustable Hop Up
- Tri-Rail RIS (Rail Interface System) Integrated Front and Top Scope Rail
- BB Speed Loader Included
- Include Red Dot Scope & Tactical Flash Light
- Made in China

Is it any good?

Should I use .12g or .20g bbs?

My girlfriend noticed that the beginning of Suicidal Tendencies song "Subliminal" sounds a lot like the AVGN theme....

Today she asked for my metal CDs and went through them and likes Iron Maiden, Kreator, Exodus, DRI, Vio-Lence, S.T., who else.... anyways its awesome!

anyways, She is AWESOME.

:headbang: Hell yeah. You should check out the demos if you haven't already, especially Twilightfall and Lunar Poetry. They're basically albums in everything but name. The only NM album which I find a little bit tiresome at times is NeChrist, it's just kind of repetitive and the folk sections occasionally come off as being badly integrated to the black metal.

DO NOT ORDER FROM AIRSPLAT! (Why? I've heard from ASGI forum members that they are not reliable and on the slow side) And don't buy shit-cheap BBs either! You don't want to risk having a crappy BB shatter in the chamber, would you? Crappy BBs I mean stuff from Walmart and Dicks. Buy the BBs sold at more reliable websites like ASGI or Airsoft Atlanta...and never, ever buy paintball BBs! They are utter shit no matter what!

You should order from www.airsoftgi.com as they are much more reliable and it seems Airsplat ripped the graphics tutorial with the AEG from ASGI.

You should also ask around ASGI's forum about everything airsoft..as with the price, you get what you pay for..my AK47 AEG costed me $185 and my pistol $60 (hey, it was on sale at ASGI).

If you get a better springer, I would suggest using .2g BBs (if the gun supports it) as they are more accurate than the .12g due to weight I belive. Ask people on ASGI's forum for information on this. Higher FPS doesn't always mean better, since higher speeds means additional wear on some internals like the spring (in springers) and gearbox/mechbox (in AEGs and gas guns).

If you get a good gun, you will able to use it much longer than cheapo or no-name guns which have less reliable internals...and one last think, GET EYE PROTECTION! You only have two eyes and losing one would damage your field of view..protective glasses as sold on ASGI. For more serious playing, you would want to get a full mask (not the wire mesh ones) since they protect the mouth and rest of your head.

Anybody else read that little amusing article about those slackers who hacked into that electronic road sign on a major highway in Austin, Texas yesterday? For a few hours the sign read:
ZOMBIES AHEAD! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! NAZI ZOMBIES! RUN!
