So I might be going to San Francisco with my family and was wondering if anyone could give me a list of good record stores that carry metal music??

Aquarius Records is all right for that kind of stuff. Small place, but a mostly decent new and used metal sections. Their little mini-reviews for certain CD's are fun to read.
