You know how on an Ipod, you can put your album art on? Well how would you do it for a tape, since a tape's album art is a rectangle, not a square. So when I try to put a tapes album art It gets stretched and cut down, and I end up with half the image missing.

The only way to do it is to place a CD/Vinyl shaped box with no fill around the cassette art and then paste the result for the art. Personally, I just let it stretch.

Who cares really? I leave the art out as it only takes up room.

I include the album art...I like that feature. I'm not worried about space on my 80gb iPod.

Same, plus, really good album art adds to the music, and if its good art why not have it. I actually just use coverflow most of the time to browse my music, as I just really love covers.

I'm a big fan of including cover art. I just love seeing all the little images beside my songs. I plan on getting one of those iPods with ridiculously huge amounts of storage space and loading it up till it can't take any more songs. Ah, satisfaction.

Yeah man, it's great. Except mine got messed up and I lost 5000 songs, so now I'm in the process of reloading them. If you can, I'd find a way to back your music up.

If you have time. Simply create a white square in photoshop the size of an album cover, and paste your cassette art in the middle.

All my songs are on my computer. Some of 'em were a bitch to find, so I guess if my computer ever crashes I'm fucked. I do write down every song I have in a wordpad document though. Best waste of time EVER. Not only can I have a quick way to find my songs again, I can amaze the everyday person with their puny song count. :D

If you have a 5G/5.5G/photo/colour iPod you could do a little bit of resource hacking and change the perimeter of the album art to fit that of the cassette.

Find the pixel dimension of the art box on your iPod, then shrink down the art for the cassette. After that, put two white rectangles on the left and right side (or top and bottom) and save it.

well it shouldn't really be a problem unless it was only released on tape. and even then just find cassette art and then stretch it in paint. thats what I do. and even if theres some distortion visible on itunes usually its not enough to show up on the pod itself
