Came across this site while searcing the internet for pictures of Genocide (NY) and Rommel, then I browsed the site and couldn't believe the amount of information on old speed metal bands. I really can't imagine I'll post on this message board too often but I might every once in a while, so just in case I'll give a bit of an introduction. First and foremost, I love collecting records, I also like low budget gore films, some of my favorite bands are Whiplash, Oxidised Razor, Cranium, Impetigo, Atrocious Madness, Disrupt, etc, and I guess you could call me an "ex-speed metaller," since I've been far more involved with the crust (not the hippie kind though, haha) and porno/goregrind scenes for the past four or five years. I just think there's a lot more going on in those scenes right now, frankly. I still love raw speed metal though, and I also enjoy some of the older black and death stuff although I'm real particular about those (stuff like Sarcofago's 1st album, Hellhammer, Nifelheim's 1st, Abigail up to I & L...; and Slaughter Lord, Death's 1st, Incubus LA's 1st, Blood's 1st... respectively). So anyway, I'll try not to get on anyone's nerves and hope maybe I'll have something interesting to add to some of the conversations, cheers.

Im James, i currently live in Vernon, B.C Canada, im 16 and have been into metal(mostly black,viking) for about 3-4 years, lots of bands i listen to, im not going to list them all.
