HAIL ALL!! Zephirus checking in here. I’m 29 and have been into metal since Slayer – Reign in Blood pierced my ear drums. From there it’s been a chaotic ride through thrash in the 80’s, death and doom metal in the early 90’s, the rise of neo – black metal in the early/mid 90’s, masses of stage diving and head banging at gigs, to the present day where I’m still listening to the lot!! I’m not just into metal but that’s my first true love as far as genres go.

You don't necessarily have to wear a bunch of macho-crap in order to like great music... Especially if you're a female. I know I don't, I wear jeans and a T-shirt (no band logo, just a monocoloured T-shirt) most of the time, some times I even wear a suit, I still consider myself to be a metalhead. It's only sissies that feel a requirement to wear spikes and leather in order to look tough...
