Haha there's soooo much (un)intentional homoerotic innuendo in the first season of the animated series it's fantastic.

Her: That can't be, you're messing with me!

Me: This is a joke, right?

Her: Really, Montana is not a state.

Living in Texas with her aunt now. Got a job after a whole one day of looking, lucky girl. I guess her aunt's place has a bit of a roach problem so she's been cleaning non stop. She isn't quite happy with everything but it's better than living at the train station.

Ugh the new transformers movies are awful. I love how in the latest one his character now has lots of money, "the hot girlfriend," and saved the world multiple times but he still tries to pull off the awkward teenager routine.

Will the director ever let his balls drop?

That's actually a really good result and it happened quite fast. Sure, a roach problem is not a good thing to deal with, but that's infinitely better than living at a train station. Hopefully she can pull her life back together, which it seems like she will.

I'm a sucker for pics of North Korea, and here are some recent ones. I like how the taxi has the sign in English, too (actually I think I read once that the most recognizable words worldwide are 'taxi', 'okay' and 'Coca-Cola'. Add 'booze' and 'blowjob' to that and what else do you really need to say to people?).

So basically if you're not living in Pyongyang, you're a poor-ass? Pretty shit effort by the North Korean government, really, but Pyongyang does look nice.

Would making a thread about the best individual songs in 2012 be too related to the Best Albums of 2012 thread?

This whole Wintersun fiasco has just really made me realize that if Persuader ever finishes and releases their fourth album (they respond all inquiries with "we're working on it" or "studio time is booked for soon" or something to that effct), and it doesn't blow me away as much as Evolution Purgatory and When Eden Burns do, I'm going to fucking pop a blood vessel in my soul and just go full tardrage for lie a solid week.

The release has made me feel something empty...

Now I need something new to bicker about and make bad, obvious jokes of. Is Metallica planning anything in the next decade?

Holy sweet shit yes. I just popped out When Eden Burns for a spin a few days ago...that final chorus of Judas Immortal.

Ok dude let me clarify a few things. Even if the movie was a pilot for toy selling (which isn't really debatable, it was) that doesn't detract from the badass story. There are a lot lamer ways to kill off most of your original cast than what they did, really if you look at the story as just the original series with the movie as an end point, it's a damn fine story. If only the show could have been more like the movie... They brought back lots of characters later on and compromised the whole thing, then they just gave up and did stuff like Beast wars, but I just pretend like that stuff doesn't exist (just like the new movies.) Not sure what you're talking about with the animation mistakes, I never really spotted any that bothered me and I've easily seen the movie a couple hundred times. I'm actually quite partial to a lot of the space backgrounds in the movie and the settings were cool if you didn't put too much thought into them (robot fishes!) And for an animated movie I'm sure a story that cool would be picked up for a feature length today, anime movies are cheap to make. So yeah you're wrong, if you can't appreciate the movie I truly pity you because it is one of the coolest movies ever. I wish it would have been way longer with more detail given to the battle for Autobot City and maybe some time where Starscream actually was in charge of the Decepticons, I always liked him.

Edit: Also, those pics from North Korea are quite something, especially those murals where they are bravely fending off Americans. Talk about a different perspective! I know it sounds patronizing but I really do feel sorry for the people that have to live there, politics aside nobody should have to be afraid to think and speak freely. I heard if you live in Pyongyang you can go to prison for having your government issue radio below a certain volume playing the state channel.

The irrational fear that your pharmacist thinks you're a pill addict... anyways, rhinitis fucks me up right now. And I mean that it makes me totally muzzy (I posted this in the wrong thread first), gives me headaches and that I can't properly breath. :( I'm not even sure if it's just my various allergies or if I got the cold.

Take the words "The" and "Theory" away and you have a great name for a cavernous stoner/sludge/doom band.

Cool article. Say what you will about Cracked, but they have fun, and stuff like this is always informative and entertaining alike. Music is so fascinating because it's so universal and just ingrained in our brains. I'd really love to read more about this sometime, the whole neurologically-wired response to music. Fascinating stuff.

Yeah, I love Cracked's science articles. You can laugh your ass off while you learn, and this one was particularly interesting. I personally loved how they explained that, when it comes to metal, your brain acts they way it does when you're behaving aggresively, yet you feel more relaxed and happier after listening to it. It makes a ton of sense, actually.

Cracked has been pretty horrible for a while. They only have two funny writers. When you find a good article these days it's the exception, rather than the rule.

True, though I still read many of the articles just for the curiosity of the facts presented. Also, the videos are great.

TBH, I think they are both pretty dumb... though, honestly, when I was in HS, I used to wish I could film all the fights that broke out and then compile/sell them as some form of exploitation video.
