I wish this was true. At least I would finally have an explanation for why he took my money and disappeared, but for now, the only possible reasons are either that he died or ran away to join the cartels (that's what kids run off to join these days instead of the circus, right?)

We should alert him that there is another Noah Richards out there trying to tarnish his reputation. Or maybe we should run with this, incarceration rumors might help Septic Tomb sales. Either way, I really think we should put our heads together in order to turn this humorous find into something beneficial for our friend Noah, who is, imprisoned or otherwise, most certainly being anally violated at this very moment.

ATTENTION NEW DRONE, NEW DRONE, NEW DRONE.

http://mapsofcrayon.bandcamp.com/album/sisters

Spoiler: show
"I grew up with two sisters, one older and one younger. I feel as if there were huge moments in my life where this fact went ignored. It was not until I was a matured man that I began to appreciate this fact.

Now, I am, in no small way, grateful for the two women with whom I have grown. They have helped shaped me into a man who is unafraid of criticism, who can ask for guidance, and who can understand his flaws and most of all, can be patient and kind with those he loves. They both have taught me to be brave and understanding, and it is with no sense of irony or doubt that I am the man I am today in part because of their guidance.

They have given me gifts that are gracious and humbling. I am eternally grateful, and this small, bizarre album, I hope, will pay both of you back a fraction of my spiritual debt."

@Necro. You're Facebook friends with me....surprised you haven't figured out that they received literally every gene that makes my family good looking and stole them from me.

@Thrash. One of the biggest influences for me to get into experimental music. A huge driving force.

I don't have any siblings, so I got all the good and the bad genes.

Yeah, they're pretty hot but so are you, froggie. Necro also has a cute sister, she's my age and he's refusing to organise a date (probably for my own safety considering his whole family is crazy)

Nice. Yeah they're pretty great. Someone has been selling a bunch of their old CDr releases to a local used music store, and I've been racking them up. Although my favorite I've heard so far is definitely A Momentary Aviary. I love how, without significantly changing the drone, each track change brings about a huge shift in tone just by augmenting the way they frame the central drone. When those noisy drums come in to start the fifth (i think?) track... whew just amazing

What is the point of televised events like the Oscars and the Grammys? Are they just celebs kissing each others asses or am I missing something?

No, in the case of the Oscars it's also a shady club of old ass white males arbitrarily handing out a prestigious award.

Just to create the illusion of celebrating "great" cinema/music and that those guys are there to reinforce the fact that they're the IN crowd. I think the only reason they got McFarlane to host it was to appeal to younger folks and to make the Oscar relevant. Haha.

Anyway, with that being said, I watched the Oscars but slept off during it...till about the time Waltz got his award I think. And after that, I just decided to do better things.

I don't think anyone considers the Grammys at all meaningful, prestigious, valuable or in any way legitimate anymore (if they ever did).

The Grammys decided to give up artistic pretension and just award artists based on the thickness of their wallets long ago. The Oscars is a disgusting shitfest of self importance but at least they use some criteria other than box office to decide who is worthy of praise.

There are always cases of underhanded lobbying that goes on for the Oscars. No system is transparent.

Meh, they can be fun. That's all they can be - nothing serious or crazy, just fun.

That being said, I did not watch. Was very busy making drone. But, I did use them as an excuse to have a bottle of wine in an hour....

Fuck. FUCK WHY IS BOLT THROWER SO GOOD. This will remain a mystery for the aeons, our sacred noumenal question, our arcanum.

The secondary arcanum shall be: WHY DID BOLT THROWER START KIND OF SUCKING AFTER THE IVTH CRUSADE.

If you think albums like For Victory and Those Once Loyal "kinda suck", you're a moron. There are no two ways around this.

Meh. Seeing as they've got none of the atmosphere or dark, gripping riffs that made the early albums great, I'm going to have to say that yeah, they do kind of suck. They're not crap, but they're definitely not as good as the records that preceded them.

I had a moment of completely accidental racism yesterday. I was in the practice space's building's kitchen. The cook was black. As I was walking out with the food, for whatever reason I say "See ya BOY...er, man."

I still feel like an asshole.

Yeah, well Waltz isn't lead-role material. I can't fathom him in any sort of lead role actually. He's at that Philip-Seymour-phase in life where he's being recognized for good supporting roles. If that makes any sense :-D

Subrick, you're overreacting. But you did call him 'heroin' by calling him boy.

Realize that For Victory is awesome and you've got my opinion. After that album they became a worship band of themselves.

Ya think so, man? Because I believe the guy could be a great protagonist if given the right character. You know, sort of a guile hero thing, where he uses words and wit more than brute strength. He certainly has the charisma to pull that off.....

And Subrick; man, don't worry. The word "boy" has nothing to do with racism nowadays. It's not like you called him "coon" or "nigger".

It should be avoided nevertheless, if just to show some historical sensibility. I don't doubt it's something an actual racist would say intentionally.

So, you can call any male "boy" except black males, because at some point in time, that word was demeaning to them, even though it's not anymore? I mean, the word has completely lost that connotation by now. Really, I think this is just stretching it. If anything, I could take that same argument and say that we should use the word precisely do denote that it's not wrong to call a black person that anymore. Actually, it could be said that you'd be discriminating them for being able to call anyone that but them. It's positive discrimination, which is still just as wrong, and......

Fuck clouds, now I'm the one overthinking this. Just..... Agh, forget I said anything.

Before someone calls me out for being a PC whiner, I'm not trying to make a moral point. It might just be that calling a black person "boy" could make them think you're being condescending or just ignorant which might leave a bad impression on someone you've just met. Then again I could be wrong.
