You. Your bones grew and stuff. As far as I can remember you looked like a kid last time you posted a pic of you here.

Here's a rather unkempt, bepimpled me on what I think was a T-34 in the Croatian Homeland War Memorial near Vukovar, but I'm not sure; will have to check my Osprey books.

I got the Bolt Thrower shirt at a shop in my city, and I'm still not sure if it's real or not. Either way, I've definitely given money to Bolt Thrower before, so I guess it's no big crime if the shirt's a bootleg.

You live in Van? I know it's been a couple years, but welcome to British Columbia (and Canada) regardless. It is a wonderful place.

Looking good, guys. I also echo the sentiment about Iron Wizard growing up. Amazing what only a year or so can do for a teenager.

I've been super busy with life... good super busy but still metal as hell. :p

Vancouver is an amazing host for metal bands... I've been going to many concerts when I first arrived, it kinda died down with me a bit but still going every so often.

Well MA, I've done it. I went to Japan and met every single member of Gargoyle, and saw them play live for their 30th anniversary! Not only did the normal line-up play, but She-Ja came to play with them too, and then, unannounced, Yotaro too!! Fucking hell, I've seen every member of this band play live in one night, and I met the main line-up in person, hung out, did all sorts of cool shit with them... Just, the stories are immense, I cant believe it. Katsuji air drummed a song of my choice (his offer!), Toshi cooked my fucking dinner (he's an amazing chef), Kiba did calligraphy of my favorite lyrics (he has beautiful writing), and Kentaro performed the song I played at the very start of this trip on his acoustic guitar... Just, what the fuck, I met my heroes and each one of them did so much cool shit. G-Ark is an amazing place, its like a museum for all things Gargoyle and the atmosphere of the bar is so relaxed and happy. I love these people, and I love this place. Good god, my life is complete. This trip fucking rocked.

I recently got back from a 3 week euro trip. It started with Rome, Norway (Oslo, Bergen, Odda, Trolltunga), Helsinki and Tallinn. I could only meet Gastjale on this trip. He was quite the host and I had a brilliant time in Helsinki. Unfortunately, Deathfog was busy on the day I visited Estonia. Anyway, I shall be back soon, Europe!

The Roman Forum. Well, I just had to!

Trolltunga (near Odda, Norway). It was a 11 km trek through sun, rain, snow, whathaveyou but the view was totally worth it!

Fantoft Stave Church in Bergen. It was allegedly burned down by Varg in the 90s. For those reasons, it's quite popular among metalheads. Warning: Invisible oranges!

That looks amazing. Bet that was totally worth it, just as you said. I'd really enjoy going there. Almost majestic.

Here's me and some mates with Herman's Hermits last week. They seriously rocked and this isn't irony - great musos, were happy to hang around and chat after the gig, etc

Cheers M! Not sure if I'm aging gracefully, or if everyone else has just made an effort to grow up at some point haha.
I haven't had Sean Bean before, but I get a *lot* of Eddie Vedder comparisons - randoms approaching me and saying it, calling me Eddie out of the blue and the like.
That shot isn't particularly Vedder-like, but in this one for instance you can see it.
