Okay, first things first, there's some loop of a lispy fag (moi) saying "penis" over and over again laid over this piano piece, but I'm asking this as a legitimate inquiry, so try to ignore the whole "penis... penis... penis..." thing.

And now the backstory: I was recording a streaming radio broadcast (this was years ago now, so I don't remember what for, or what station).

Anyway, I think this came on after the show I was initially trying to record, and I was probably out of the room with it still recording, so I ended up recycling the recording of the piano piece into the dumb little "song" I've linked to below... I never caught the name of the composer/composition, though, and I've wondered about it ever since.

I would be eternally grateful to anyone who can ID the composer/composition, or even something similar to help me get a foothold that'll allow me to start doing my own research (like whatever this could be classified as... Like, say it's "Minimalist". What era/style of Minimalism, then? That sort of thing).

I promise this is not a joke thread, it's just that I recorded the voice loop onto it years ago as a joke to put it on drop.io (drop.io doesn't even exist anymore, so that tells you right away this was recorded a while back), and it is the only audio source I have for an example: http://www.mediafire.com/?314jb1xw9ujwmc3

I think I've just found my new ringtone...

Unfortunately, I don't recognise the piece either. It doesn't sound classical to me, it sounds more like a show-tune or something. Good luck in your search.

lol... Radiohead cover?
would've never guessed in a million years (I don't listen to them).

Anyway, thanks a bunch!

Does anyone know of similar piano-only music in this style?
I am sort of reminded of the music from the old Sims game, actually, tho my memories of it are vague.
