Oh, I got new ink yesterday too! Got Thor's Hammer on my right breast. Just the outline though. I have a few ideas of what I want it filled in with but I'm undecided right now at the moment.

I always saw tattoos as permanent make-up :)

Also, never ever search for "insane tattoo" on google images. I think some people may be scarred for life.

Oh, and remember to put some blood in your Thor hammer tattoo. If your body will contain a weapon, then it must be not only badass, but it must have prove that it's indeed badass.

Rather than start a new thread and fully aware of our universal appreciation for any and all things Bolt Thrower, has anyone heard the "Full Dynamic Range" reissue of Realm of Chaos? If so, how does it stack up to the original and/or the reissue Earache did a few years ago? I'm skeptical that this is just Earache being gimmicky again but I want to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I have not heard it... but from my understanding it is simply the cd reissue they did previously pressed on wax. It's not even a remaster of the original vinyl version. Fuck earache forever and ever, don't give them your money.

Let me ask everyone something: what is the point of having three McDonalds within 2.5 square miles of land? Along the same fucking road?

You get a burger and when you drive on you realize you want another one. Twice. Because thinking ahead is not your strength otherwise you wouldn't be eating that crap.

Where I live( a small rural town of ~25,000) there are two Subways. Within four miles of each other. Same road. Same people who work at each one.

And they're always out of stuff... Oh there's also one on the naval base too and another right outside town off 395.

In some cities you can't turn around without seeing at least 3 Starbucks.

I'm kinda proud I've never been to a Starbucks. Don't know what's so appealing about them. I hear they are expensive and full of hipsters. Must be the w-lan.

Real cafés ftw

Starbucks is too mainstream for real hipsters. Your probably just confusing them with theatre nerds and the like. Yeah... It's always watered down and way too expensive for what little flavour there actually is- if any.

Wasn't the original appeal of Starbucks free internet access?

Nowadays, most half-decent places also offer that, but wasn't Starbucks one of the first places with that service?

One day I was leading my squad of mandingo hunter/warriors through the radioactive wastes of Ohio which we had taken as tribute after the US/Mali wars! Suddenly we stopped and saw a tribe of americans! They were slow and pitiful, mutated in a thousand grotesque ways, barely alive and in perpetual agony! They slowly trudged across the broken ground, listlessly waving their tea party signs and raging against an Obama long dead and eaten as they marched aimlessly for all eternity. We would have put them out of their misery but they had recently been put on the endangered species list.

If I remember correctly Subway has actually overtaken McDonald's on the most locations front. And as far as their food quality and rediness goes they actually switched providers not too long ago, at least the ones in the Midwest did though I'm not positive if it was nation wide.

I don't think so...I speak spanish, so I still have some trouble detecting puns in english.

EDIT: Ok, now I get it...but still, it was unintentional.

I guess nobody can resist when somebody tells them not to do something, right?

It was more of a light-headed (read "early onset of shock") super-lemon face pucker, but yeah .. also, the carving work is really good. Though at the moment, the seeping wound is nothing but mouth-drying.

I've seen the eye ball thing before on the discovery channel so that wasn't so bad but the flesh carving is just nasty. Why somebody would do that to themselves is beyond me. I also used to know a guy who was into getting branded I found that quite odd too.

Spring my ass. We've gotten close to 20cm of snow today, freeways have been closed, I've shoveled the walk twice, and my bus got stuck trying to make it up a hill this morning. Then there was the giant accident on the main highway heading south. Last report, workers were attempting to clear a 1m high by 100m long snowdrift and 300 people are in hospital.

Man, I love Yes, but they frustrate me to no end sometimes. Their debut album is one of my favorite albums ever, but beyond that I haven't found an entire album that I enjoy. They occasionally write an absolutely brilliant song or two (Roundabout, Owner of A Lonely Heart, etc), but that seems to be about it.

Maybe it's just the computer screen, but the shade of red that the cover is in makes it kind of an eyesore.

Actually, there's two KFC's in the same vicinity where I live. One in the mall and one directly out of the mall.

Maybe they are connected with a portal (as a way to reduce jobs) and therefore only count as one.

"We've developed portal technology. We could eliminate the need for CO² spewing vehicles, revolutionize the plumbing system and drastically simplify the logistics of space exploration!" "Nah, let's just use it to have one Staff run two KFC."
Yeah that doesn't sound right.

Yeah, DS9 is by far the best imo. Best characters, best plot, best everything.
