Just because I look like a viking doesn't mean I have to live in the temps that they are used to.

I've always said if I could move even further south I would cause I just hate cold weather, I can never get warm. I hate it if it gets below 80 degrees here. Anything lower than that is chilly and I hate.

@Twonn: Indeed! I could wear my green tie. You know, to blend in... Our dog would love exploring the forest, though he'd probably end up with poison oak or something :ugh: Do you ever do wilderness camping or anything like that? Quebéc seems like it has plenty of awesome hinterlands to delve.

In the summer? And miss out on all the blazing autumn foliage? :aww: I can't stand the heat/humidity anyway...

No, U_S, I'm not really an outdoor guy, but yeah definitely come during spring or autumn, the forests are awesome during these seasons. It's a bit chilly to camp outside though, but we'll bring booze and we'll go with Necro (we'll make him fetch the firewood and shit)

Inhumanist: maybe you noticed that I managed to end this fucking awful MLP wedding fantasy discussion...

It was about 4 degrees today. I went to Uni in a t-shirt with my jacket open and the sleeves rolled up (and its not really a warm jacket, its more of a suit jacket). Everyone else was bundled up trying to fight the cold. And they call themselves Canadians!

I did not miss the intention, and I did not mean to express disapproval.

So I recently got to DJ at an all you can drink party($10 at the door entitles everyone to unlimited beer and green jesus). Was a good time, but dealing with drunk people when you're sober can get irritating. In all we made $500 from it.

Bullshit it was. My brother and sister got off from school today because of the snowfall so I couldn't enjoy Spring Break day number 1 all by myself.

What's a Green Jesus? Some kind of mixed drink?

And the weather here is fucking annoying. It started snowing yet again a few days ago and temperatures mostly oscillate around 0 degrees Celsius in one direction or the other. I want my spring already.

It's just the green version of purple jesus (so green kool-aid mixed with 94% Alcool).

Wow looks like my vacation and trip to PA ended just in time though I did catch a little snow on the drive home (more so in Ohio and Indiana than anything) but we've been lucky here in Chicago. Even when it has snowed over the past few days it was barely a dusting and hardly anything stuck.

My least favorite part of winter in Pennsylvania is the lack of cool insects to find outside.

In Florida they are supposedly out year round.

Speaking of bugs - the first of my mantises has reached adulthood! Not surprisingly, this is a male Orchid mantis. He is so tiny! I can't get over how tiny he is, as an adult he is still half the length of the female, and she's not even full grown!

Wow. Never had occasion to investigate Cisco before, but this review of Cisco Berry is pretty goddamn funny:

That's pretty much fucking spot on. I had whatever the orange flavor was. I remember I was already pretty lit up from actual beer and then was offered this and I figured i'd give it a chance. I actually got an instant hangover just from taking that sip... it really did just wreck my buzz and I ended up drinking another 6 pack just to drown out the horrid taste from my mouth.

Had to babysit a girl in high school who went off campus and got shit faced on Cisco, only to come back. What the fuck is the point of that? Particularly when you're lying down on cement stairs because you can't stand up..

Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy, offered a job promotion, graduate in May, writing reviews again, saving money, generally being awesome.

Fuck yeah.

Safely assuming I'm this board's drunk, even I wouldn't touch that shit. Anything that makes you sick before drunk is the devil's and not in the cool way.

THE. LAST. UNICORN.

(No, I am not a fucking brony, much less a horse and/or plushie-fucking autistic creep, but that movie had a profound impact on me as a youngster, and I still enjoy it today).

Haha, yeah a lot of the party got really drunk. After the party was done and we kicked everyone out, we were doing shots of the straight 94% stuff.

Another good older(ish) kids psyfi movie would be Titan AE I used to watch the shit out of that movie. And a generally frickin awesome kids movie would be The Secret of Nimh.

I remember Antz to be a really good children's film. It actually had some heavier themes, and when I saw it, as a eight year old, I actually felt like it wasn't underestimating my intelligence (ie. the same feeling as watching "bigger kids'" films). Not to be confused with the slightly later film A Bugs Life, which I never saw and which seemed lame.

Apparently it's a quite well rated film, so it might actually be good.

Watched both, but don't remember them well enough to give any useful account concerning quality. However, I'm pretty sure everyone with an opinion about those movies agrees that Pixar did it better... actually, I just checked Antz on Rotten Tomatoes: 95% critical rating, 47% user rating... wtf, did Dreamworks buy all the critics? Respectively, are Rotten Tomatoes users full of shit?

Best kids movie probably still stays Toy Story though. That shit was classic.

I'm pretty sure MD. 20/20 is more intoxicating than the sum of it's ingredients... there's witchcraft afoot.

Nonetheless, these American beverages are no match for Buckfast. ;)
