I paid and pm'd him Wed May 14, 2014 3:25 am but haven't heard from him since, that's 8 days
Just sent him an email at two addresses... hopefully he's just busy

He was at least earlier trustworthy. I have made 2 trades with him and bought some stuff also. But that was pretty long time ago, so maybe he isnt anymore so trustworthy. I dont know, but just keep send to him emails.

It's been said a lot previously, but I gotta throw out that Ominous-Domain is one of the best Distro's i've ever gone through. Great prices, insanely fast shipping, great service, tons of CDs that can be hard to find. Love them!

I have been ordering most of my stuff at www.discorder.com for years now, they used to be known as Displeased Records by some.
They are not always the fastest or necessarily the cheapest but they often have great deals with the newest releases, free shipping, discount per number of cd's, and a point system.
Couldn't find it on here with the search options so just wanted to write that down.
They also sell dvd's btw.

I was just placing an order online with Osmose, I decided to use my credit card instead of paying the Paypal fee, my phone rings... it's the FRAUD SQUAD! ha ha ha ha I was not expecting that.
Turns out Osmose charge 1$ [Euro symbol] to 'test' the card out first?! has this happened to you guys?

Also who is http://www.cdandlp.com/en/ they are also French, when I emailed Osmose about this weirdness the email they sent me had "dreadmeat vient de vous envoyer un message sur CDandLP.com." in it.

Also the sky is falling so you may want to watch out... :oh shit:

"vient de vous envoyer un message sur" [apparently means] "just sent you a message on" I feel like such a swine, not speaking French, who do I think I am!

Paypal also does that the first time it verifies the credit card, so I guess that despite being a weird practice from a distro it should be normal?! The other stuff though...

My bank thought it was odd enough to block my card and call me immediately...

LOL. It seems they have to get those 2.60 no matter what.

Another thumbs up for Ominous Domain. Those guys just rock, they have plenty of stuff and both the prices and the low p&p to europe make it cheaper than buying here.

So far Osmose have been annoying to deal with and not upfront with the fees/charges and other stuff, hopefully my cool stuff arrives quickly.

Where's the best place to buy longsleeves the US? I've found a couple good-looking Euro sites but paying $40 for a shirt not including shipping is a bit ridiculous.

any idea where to buy MINT LPs with cheap/reasonable shipping cost?
US or Europe will do as long as it is 100 percent reliable .

Yeah, these guys had to be some of the most disorganized bunch of farm animals I've ever seen. They still owe me a Rookwood - White Knuckle Terror cd. Be sure to file them under "ripoff fartist" for future reference.

It was frustrating to say the least but hey, I got my parcel and he actually hand wrote a note in it...
I really wanted to grab some Misery CDs from him but that's it, no more, all gone.
Their last album is as hard to find as their first album ha ha
The only one I see on a regular basis is Curses

I think I Know someone who knows one of the guys, how long have you been waiting? it must be ages aye.

I put an order in early last year. I actually ordered a Astriaal cd before that and had to track and hound him about where my order was and months went by till i finally got a response. They made good on it after a massive delay. He sent me the the cd i ordered plus the bands new one and a t shirt. So i came out smelling like a rose on that deal. i should've learned my lesson and never dealt with him again. only thing they really had going for them was they stocked a lot of stuff that you couldn't find/buy anywhere else.

The dude who ran Obsidian was James Geeks i believe. He plays in Defamer.

If you could relay that message through your connection that would be appreciated. :D

I'd really like to know what happened to OR, I even contacted some of the guys from Misery to try and get it sorted out.
Seems a pity this happened to their label :(

I might have worded that a little ambiguously by accident, the dude I know had issues with them too but he has met them/him in real life.
I've linked this thread to them just now too...

One of the Obsidian dudes is on Facebook. Sent him a message. Doubt it will lead to anything but it's worth a shot. :nono:

Since I'm in a posting mood I might as well plug a worthy distro/shop. Mad Rush Media is super fast, has a great selection and the items always show up in the condition listed. Highly recommended.

Anyone have any bad/good to say about Moribund Records?
Thinking of making an order there, but I just wanted to check here first!

Moribund is great. Located here in WA, a lot of people love doing business with them.

I made an order with Pest Productions around the middle - end of July, got an automatic message saying dude was on Vacation and won't be shipping til mid-August. Planned on moving out with my lady and emailed him asking to cancel my order, he said he won't be able to until he gets back from vacation.... (how did he email me back? he obviously has internet access...), I told him don't worry about it then and I'll keep the order..... still waiting for my order. Anyone else work with them before?

I did business with Pest Productions a while back. They are located in China so shipping is extremely slow. I am located in WI and it took around 5-6 weeks to get a CD to me.

I don't trust Chinese anything, that sounds very fishy to me, if he can respond to an email surely he can cancel an order.
Personally I would never order anything from that country

Aw crap. I thought they were located in Singapore for some reason, so I didn't mind ordering from there (have a friend in Singapore and we exchange stuff, shipping isn't too slow). Even worse is that I found the main CD that I wanted for cheaper on another site (Ominous Domain) . Oh well.

Has anyone around here ever dealt with Warheart Records (Poland)? They're doing a bunch of Graveland rereleases/remasters/rerecordings that I'd like to pick up all at once directly from them but I can't seem to find any kind of feedback whatsoever about them.
