Does anyone know if ''Flenser Records'' is good/bad or just slow on responding to emails?
I got my order from them last week, but there was a major problem with it.
And I can't seem to get any answers to my emails....

I ordered once with The Flenser ages ago. I ended up having to email them letting them know I hadn't got my record yet 5 months later and it took me a few tries to get them to reply. Luckily they had an extra to send me that eventually arrived. I'd say just keep pestering them.

It's a shame cause I really want the Ghast vinyl they currently have for $5 but that experience has put me off them.

How reliable is War on Music? I'd love to order from them as their stock is great and the shipping is domestic.

Some info back a few pages
viewtopic.php?p=2243097#p2243097

Invictus is all good, packing is good, communication is good too
The CDs are a little marked though so I'll assume they were shipped to them without cases because the packing from them to me was good

Alright, thanks for the info!
I will just have to keep sending emails then.
One of the main items in the order was missing completely.

Thanks man! I should've trekked back a few pages but this helps and now an order is placed with them.

Necroharmonic (US) has a lot of bad comments from customers from a few years ago (here and other websites). However, I've ordered from them a handful of times within the last couple of years and they've been 100% fast and reliable (plus $5 cds). Small selection and a lot of stuff was out of stock last I checked, but good service.

Dread Records (US) is another small label I've ordered from 2-3 times within the last year or so - also fast shipping, reliable, good communication from the shop owner (Miguel if I remember correctly).

Deathgasm and Metalbolic (US) stores on ebay are both places I've ordered from multiple times over the last decade and I highly recommend both for good service as well as good selection and prices. I'm pretty sure I've gotten a few freebies on large orders from one or both, too.

I have to say I've only ordered something directly from Earache (from the UK) through ebay once, but I was really disappointed when they sent me a totally different version of one of the albums in my order. A record label should know better than to list whatever random version instead of what they have in stock. I specifically ordered that album from them because they listed the one I wanted. So I wasn't too happy with the experience there.

- Good -

Electronic Art Metal. Very courteous. Sent extra stuff, too. Everything arrived in good condition. No problems.

Metal Blessing Radio. Everything arrived fine, except for a couple "used" CDs I've purchased which were, well, used. Extremely fast shipping. No problems.

Metal Helm. Very courteous people. They seem to like to send extras, too. I've gotten several free things from them. Overall great label.

Red Stream, Inc. Don't really know what to say - no problems with them. The CD arrived in good condition, etc.

Silentium in Foresta. Also very courteous. The CD did take a long time to get here (edit: about a month, maybe slightly longer), but that seems to be a common problem with the Mexican postal service - the label actually sent out the CD very quickly (they gave me a tracking number). No problems at all.

Victory Records. They sent a surprising amount of extras. Everything arrived in good condition. No complaints.

W.A.R. Productions. Very courteous. Everything I got from him in the past arrived in good condition. No problems.

- Bad -

Dungeons Deep Records. I've heard a few people apparently had good experiences with this label, but not me, or anyone to whom I've ever talked. He only sends things after you pester him for weeks on end, and even then you might not get them. He also gets mixed up all the time. I got three CDs without inserts that were supposed to have them. My memory fails me, but at least one of the cases was broken. The 2nd time also involved pestering. For weeks. He did send an "extra" the 2nd time, but who knows if it was meant to be an extra or if he just got mixed up? Finally, his label was the only place to get this one CD I wanted, so. That was in December 2012. I still haven't gotten that CD. In fact, I've actually since lost interest in the band in question (for a number of reasons) so I no longer even want it. At least he refunded the money. Though even that took several messages back and forth of "Wait, which one did you order again?", or "Oh, I'll send you another copy for free!" which would make no sense for him to do/say if he had actually sent anything out the first time. Incidentally, I never got the other copies, either. A friend of mine (dunno if he has an MA account) also ordered something from this label sometime in late 2012, too. Last I checked, he still hadn't gotten that, either.

Eternal Warfare Records. I ordered a tape from them, had to be about five years ago. I never got it. Another case where I actually lost interest in the band in question. It's too bad, Nate did seem like a cool enough guy. Then again, so did Lord Tetrarch (Dungeons Deep).

ExhortMetal Distributions (run by the band Hortor). I made a thread here. They print and sell bootlegged band merchandise (as confirmed by at least one band whose alleged merchandise Exhort have been selling). I purchased a shirt from them in December 2015 not knowing it was bootlegged. I never got it. They also never sent a tracking number. They ignored my facebook messages until I filed a PayPal dispute in February - even then, they never actually sent the shirt. After the money got refunded, they played the "Dungeons Deep" card by claiming they were going to send me another shirt, which would make no sense for them to do if they had actually sent the first one.

BAD

Scam site www.under-satans-sun.de

Under-Satans-Sun.de Deiwitzweg 16 D-04207 Leipzig
Leipzig, Germany

Scam site!, fake products! avoid!

Online Metal music store with German web domain advertising extreme music cds and merchandise etc

http://www.undersatanssun.de
http://www.under-satans-sun.de

I ordered six cd's and some t shirts and other merchandise 14 weeks ago in January 2016

He sent me email asking for a bank transfer. I sent the money. After 3 weeks I was concerned because nothing arrived. My email to them was unanswered. Every week for 8 weeks i sent emails asking about order and eventually asking for refund. Not one email was answered

This has put me off ever buying cds again online :(

Does anybody know of the best German forum where I can post a topic about them? I tried registering on metalhammer german site but they are not excepting new members

Cheers

USS have been a known rip-off for a long long time.

if you want to reach a broader mainstream audience, try the rock hard or legacy boards.

Very, very bad experience with WITCHING HOUR PRODUCTIONS. And is not over yet.
I was waiting six weeks to send me a order, and he didn't answer my message. I was open case via PayPal, so then he sent me a package, but he arrived incomplete.

Again poor communications.

Now I must claim partial refund from paypal, because with this store nothing can be settled.

DO NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH WITCHING HOUR PRODUCTIONS.

LISTENABLE records is so the worst label that I ordered so far.

In my first order I preordered 3 vinyls and I paid my order immediately.I could not view my order on line(on label site),never sent me a confirmation e-mail of my order
and could not see my detailed order in paypal acount (only the amount of payment).
I informed the label with many messages (3-4) about my order and always replied that "don't worry, you will receive your order or we will send the order a.s.a.p" and
things like that.
After 40 days I decided and opened a dispute (then claim) to paypal and they told me that they cannot view my order (I sent them more than 3 messages meanwhile with my order)
so they cannot send anything.Of course the pre-ordered items sold out.Coincidence? I don't think so now.Of course the whole amount of my order refunded with the usual -no sense-apologies.

In my second order they accepted my payment through paypal again (I paid my order immediately again). With my second order in 25-03-2016 I can see my order on line in site (that could not in the first time), they replied from the first place that there is a mistake in their mailorder and I accept their apology and they accepted my suggestion about the items of my package(they replied first time in 29-03-2016).Never replied to my messages about the tracking number and when I informed them that I will open a dispute/claim they replied again in 14-04-2016 with the following message. "Sorry for this problem my colleague is away for a few days, I try of found which is the problem with your order and to solve itI come back to you as quickly as possible.Apologizes for this inconvenience".
One week waiting from their last message but they never replied back so I decided and opened a dispute-claim (again) and after all they refunded me again (today).
Of course they never replied to any of my last messages (not expecting for a reply anyway).

I decided after my first order (that refunded after all due to problems with the label online mailorder system as they wrote ) to order again and to be honest I'm very dissapointed again from my second order.Never happened to me that twice from the same label so I decided to wrote and share my experience.

As I wrote to them in my last message.

"I have to admit that you try very hard to be one of the worst labels that I ordered so far.
Keep up that great work.I'm sure that customers will appreciate that not reliable attitute.
Also that poor and slow communication give to the label an advantage for further evolution.
Great work !!!!!"

The only positive is that they refunded the full amount of my payment.Of course not without opening a case in paypal. So not positive at all !!!!

So if anyone is going to order from LISTENABLE RECORDS now you know how they treat their customers.

After creating topics about my experience with my both orders in LISTENABLE records then the label decided to reply.
Well here are the main part from their message.

" you were not lucky , in the middle of problems of stock and shop's system ..thats why I made earlier today your refund .
Im sorry sometimes it happens and it was with your order .
We get many good feedbacks every day and Im sorry to read a bad one but really yours had too many problems ".

As all can see I'm not lucky according to LISTENABLE records.
It seems that you will get your order if you're lucky enough.
I'm not....... twice.
When you order from LISTENABLE is like playing in the Casino?
Of course after waiting more than one month most of the items of my order are allready sold out or not available.
At least I believe that reliable labels should inform customers about the items that are not available but not after one month.
Thats why they are not reliable for me.
Of course anyone who likes to gamble can order from them.
I dare you. Maybe you will win !!!

I'd like to give some credit to Pat and Red Stream for being basically the greatest distro ever. I recently ordered some stuff - two CDs, a double CD, and some pins - very cheap, about $12 including free shipping. I've got a tracking number and shipment confirmation the next morning, the package arrives in two days. It was bubble wrapped, bagged, and wrapped again. One of the CDs was shrink-wrapped and had a crack on the cover of the case, so a new jewel case was included in the package. It's amazing to see a distro doing everything perfectly like that, but when the stuff is so cheap, it's even more astounding. Nothing but good experiences ordering from RS many times.

WITCHING HOUR PRODUCTIONS:
- Bad experience from a total asshole! Very poor communication and customer service! 2 days after placing my order the status has progressed immediately to "order shipped" but no tracking number was provided. Since I paid for registered shipping I began demanding a tracking number of the shipment and blasted him with like 666 emails! The asshole behind WHP Keyboard replied stating that I will not be receiving any tracking number and no one will, and I should be patient since ETA is around 7-14 days! So I did wait. 30 working days have passed but nothing was received! So I emailed them again. The asshole did not respond so I filed a Paypal Claim. 2 days after filing the claim a tracking number was provided which apparently posted on the same day (2 days after the claim). What a fucking asshole! DO NOT SUPPORT this label!

Anyone from the US ever bought anything from I, Voidhanger Records? How long did it take for your order to come in? Did they give you a tracking number?

I bought one of the last copies of Midnight Odyssey's "Funerals from the Astral Sphere" a few days ago and I still haven't heard from them, and I'm getting a tad worried.

European customer here but I had no problems with that label. I think I bought stuff from them twice too so that's that. ;)

I recently ordered from Dark Symphonies/The Crypt and had a great experience. Got emailed by the owner to verify some payment info and my package was sent out very quickly, received shipping info, and it arrived without any hiccups. Highly recommend and will def come back when another CD piques my interest.

Here is the store front if anyone is interested (lots of great death metal):

Has anyone ordered from Atavistic Insurgence? I ordered a few tapes (months and months ago) and never received them. I sent a few follow up emails that were never replied to. I understand it's a small one-man operation, but I really want those tapes dammit.

I see that Neseblod has a couple of recommendations in the forum here, but is it normal for their communication to take a while? It's been more than a week since I placed an order, and have yet to have it confirmed or replied too.

Great sale with Revived by Light! Courteous, good communication ... Surprisingly fast overseas shipping! He did pack the CDs well, but somehow one of the cases still got a crack in it on the way over here, and he even offered to send a replacement jewel case. ... This sale actually happened back in January, but I only remembered to post about it today.

Edit: The owner of the label is InGraveChaos, so this counts as a positive note for him, too. :)

Has anyone ordered from Atavistic Insurgence? I ordered a few tapes (months and months ago) and never received them. I sent a few follow up emails that were never replied to. I understand it's a small one-man operation, but I really want those tapes dammit.

Update on this one. I paid via Paypal and gave the guy two months to fulfill the order, so I finally sent an email with all of the order details and requested an update on the status. I haven't gotten anything back (it's been five days shy of a year now). I recently sent another email, with no response. Steer clear of this label...

Neseblod Records is easily the worst label I've ever worked with. I've been ripped off by Chinese bootleg shops with better communication skills than this guy. It took 3 emails and 3 Facebook messages for him to finally respond to my order query for demo tapes, and after another month and a handful of follow up messages, he came back to tell me that he could not locate any of the 5 tapes I requested. The only saving grace is that I hadn't exchanged any money with him prior to all this.

Does anyone know of any issues with Xtreem Music of late?

Third time ordering from Magic Bullet Records and, once again, perfect packaging and communication. Also, ordered from Burning Shed for the first with great results. Still sour over the Atavistic Insurgence debacle, but these two are making up for it a bit.

Stopped ordering from Dave a looong time ago. I just got tired of his bullshit... Take that as you will.
