That's the least of the concerns. The guy is a total asshole. He is hard to talk to. I get so mad when I deal with him...so mad I want to punch my monitor after the transaction is done. I don't think I'll trade with him anymore. The vinyls he sent me to distro, I had to practically give away. The edges were just fucked. I didn't get the pizza box though.

I think that site is defunct now. Anyhow, their prices are fairly outdated. It's rare you'll see a lot of cds going for $11-$13 through most distros anymore.

Well I've dealt with him multiple times over the years with no problems.

Sucks though

May I suggest these fine labels again? I've had further successful trades with:

-Skullfuckingmetal Distro
http://www.geocities.com/skullfnmetal

-Adzove Vrbe Records
http://www.geocities.com/avrlabel

-Smell the Stench
http://www.smellthestench.net

The following links escape me at the moment:

-Frozen Goat Records
-Fistbang Records
-Herege Warfare Productions

I've only had good experiences with mail-orders so far.

Supernal Music: Nice selection, decent prices, though international shipping and exchange rates kinda cancel that out. Lots of new underground stuff, but be prepared for it going out of stock within a day. Now that Supernal simply cancels out of stock items from your order, the parcels ship out a lot faster, which is preferable to the earlier back-ordering of out-of-stock items which usually resulted in just delaying the order. Kurtagic responds quickly to e-mails and seems to be a pretty friendly dude.

Aquarius Records: Interesting selection of stuff, fast service and decent prices. They send personal e-mails when you've ordered, which is nice. Web-site can be a bit unwieldy to navigate, but that's hardly a problem.

Abyss Records: Once ordered two extremely rare albums for a good price, got a personal e-mail and received them in about a week with inter-continental airmail. Very professional for such a young distro.

Napalm Records: They've still got a pretty good selection of underground stuff and are very cheap. Search around and you can still come across some old rare albums (usually from their own back-catalogue) that go for retarded prices like 2-5 euro's (for instance I got Sort Vokter for 5 euro's back in 2005). Reliable and fast shipping. They once gave me a free tape gift of Summoning's Let Moral Heroes...

Dis-order: Same deal as Napalm Records, these guys have a surprising amount of old and rare albums still in stock for outrageously cheap prices. I've ordered Rotting Christ's Thy Might Contract (CM reissue from '97), Sigh's Scorn Defeat (second pressing on DSF from '94) and Obtained Enslavement's Witchraft (first and only pressing from '97) within the past two months! Fast and reliable shipping. They charge extra for credit card orders, but give discounts and free shipping (in Europe) on large orders.

RISE ABOVE RECORDS: quite a bit expensive but very good and fast distro, in my experience. it must be said that he always has limited editions, die hard vinyls and some other stuff for vinyl and collector addicts.

This Brazilian idiot is not trustworthy at all.We agreed on a trade and I asked him to send first as he had no references.I received a reply from him that he sent registered after 2 weeks. When nothing showed up after 20 days, I dropped him a mail to track down his package as his wants were on hold and got no reply.I dropped him a PM after 4 more days and this is what he replied -

'' i don´t have any trust in this forum, any "famous" traders of this site riped-off any mans, forget, i don´t like to never receive my pack, i will continue my trades whit labels ''

Although I had nothing to lose, this level of infidelity only points to one conclusion - Possible Rip-off artist.

Cultuc Records from Mexico appears to be a ripoff. Owes me a number of items. Idiotic of me to send first, but what can you do.

Twilight Vertrieb

A pretty good distro. I ordered 3 CD's from them, and they arrived fairly quickly to Australia. They can be a little pricey, but they have a wide selection. I'd definitely buy from them again.

I was thinking about ordering from them just over a year ago, but what turned me away from them was the fact that they last logged onto their MySpace 3-4 weeks by the time I decided to look at the distro. I would have rather ordered from an up-to-date distro, which I did. Looks like I made the right decision to order somewhere else, as they seem to not have had updates in over a year now.

Ancient Ceremonies is a total rip-off label. I ordered some items once, and two months later, I got my money back. Ordered one item again, because I really wanted it. More than two months have passed now, they haven't awnsered one single mail (and I've send like, eight of them)!

Issue over damaged double gatefold LP with Hells Headbangers is resolved. Chase says the whole stock of the LP seems to be banged up and will give me a discount on my next purchase.

I have to give CD Baby another plug. I ordered from them again and there were no hassles. Shipping to Australia from them seems to be quicker than a lot of other places, which is only a good thing. Support.

A couple more good distros:

Pathos Productions - Run by the user known here as AUTOPSY_666, fast shipping, great service and selection in music. I bought only a shirt at the moment, but I'm sure the quality of the distro is just as good when it comes to CDs.

Crimes Against Humanity Records - Extremely fast shipment, even when I ordered media mail shipment. I ordered off the used list of the label's owner (which seems to take 2-3 days to get a response and a shipping quote), but, like Pathos, I'm sure quality is just as good if purchasing from the regular distro, and should be quicker since there is no need to have any prior correspondence. Recommended for hardcore and grindcore fans, but there's a few other genres available. The owner is in a tough financial situation at the moment, so if you see something you like there, I'd recommend getting it here as opposed to other distros. (Note: The owner is having a sale to try to rectify his situation; from the home page: "type in "I actually still buy music" in the coupon section of the shopping cart. You'll get 25% off the total. You must order at least $15 to get the discount.")
