I remember asking about these guys a little while ago, and never getting a response, when we were still using the old thread. Figured I'd try again. This band's earlier releases are definitely more rooted in core, but I feel that this album might warrant a re-evaluation.

What do you think?

Nah, too mathy/core-y. There are a few metal segments, but they aren't a consistent thing. There's so much else going on, most of it on the Math/core side of things.

Darn it. Well, they aren’t gonna be releasing any new material soon, so...

Could they be whitelisted based on this release?

The melodic death metal/metalcore riffs here definitely dominate over the core.

I mean, unless you can prove that four song indie demo ep from the mid-2000’s had some sort of distribution beyond being ripped from streaming sites.

Yeah, that's the problem. Not sure if it was just a MySpace release (in which case it's lost forever) or if it was ever actually released on CD. I've been to several websites and it just says that it was "released" in 2005. Not sure if that means that they made a CD or not. I can't find it on Discogs. Maybe this is one for the "bands in need of research" forum.

The dude is in luck today, because the same band confirmed on May 7th, 2005 that their demo was done, that they could listen online and that if someone wanted to get a free copy of the demo go to the next concert, in other words, the concert on May 14th, look:
https://web.archive.org/web/20050507152 ... anabstract

"The Demo is done and you can listen to it here online. If you are interested in picking up a free copy then stop by an upcoming show. Thanks to Ample Studios for doing an incredible job".

I'm pretty sure this 4 track is an EP, not a demo.

Sorry to bring this up again, but over a month ago ThStealthP and I exchanged a PM about the band:
ThStealthP wrote:
Hey Lord of Diamonds, I were you and I wasn't too excited to be honest, the obvious existing proof that the demo was released is the wayback machine screenshot that I posted to you in April, with which I found it a lot stupid that you was very skeptical, it was already an obvious one and direct affirmation of the band, another test apart from that so obvious and clear that I got, was that I managed to get one of their guitarists to confirm if the demo was 3 or 5 songs and he told me that it was probably only 3 songs or 4 as much . The reason why I deleted my most recent post there, is that there was no response from some mods, not even a day later, so it could mean that the demo is very short compared to all their discography, so that the band is added based on that demo. I understand completely that the internet has always contained information based on guesswork but when it comes to an interview that the band gave or information that the band gave on their own official social media, things are different and change.

Well, there you go. Based on that and the YouTube link I posted above, is that enough for the band to be whitelisted?
