I remember when they were on MA, one time as "Heavy Metal" (if I remember right), later as "Grunge/Post Rock"... And now they are not present anymore. I won't talk about the "side project" part, even if I don't really understand why they were deleted, the band has Ice Dale (which is now a well known musician) signed to Nuclear Blast with Enslaved... Anyway.
The band really needs a re-evaluation since their last album was released (Blackout). It is Heavy Metal/Hard Rock,

(I have the CD but I cannot find the other tracks anywhere, If you need it I'll try to rip it, but it would be better if someone has this release)

In fact Youngblood was an heavy metal album, always mixed with rock/grunge wathever you want, but listen to it, Redemption Blues, Straight into your grave...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FRHn5t ... pQknEL6oWB (I don't know if this link is the playlist of the album, but you can find it just by typing Youngblood).

So, I feel really sad that they are not present here, musically they have their place in MA, and it really needs to be re-evualated... Thanks!

Full album Blackout on Sspotify :https://open.spotify.com/album/5hn4N4JS1T1h04XyOMBJF5
Young Blood: https://open.spotify.com/album/0B7MysyOekAjXaeHSCH87J
By the way , you do not remember it rright, the band's genre was listed aas being ha"hard rock/grunge" in the database ad the band was originally added stringly as a side project, not as a metal band. I remember it well, since I was a moderator back then.

While I do hear some metallic riffs in that album (especially in the second half), they don't seem to be the predominant aspect there. Still mostly Hard Rock to my ears. I'll leave it open for a seconder though.

Youngblood is even less metal than the new one.

I agree with Pag, the vast majority of their songs are Hard Rock tunes.
Some songs are borderline HM (High and Dry, Into the Wild, Wolf in My Heart, etc.) but overall I'm hearing more ZZ Top/early Whitesnake/Thin Lizzy than anything else- plus lots of classic rock/blues influences. Enjoyable, but not metal.

EDIT: my comment was based on "Youngblood", "Pure Heavy" and "Blackout".
