This band was blacklisted, I think it's time to reconsider it.
I listened to their 2019 June new release, and I'm pretty sure they're folk-metal (very similar to Eluveitie)

One song from new album: E-an-na - Aer

They are very similar to Eluveitie in that they use flutes, that's it.. Other then that E-An-na is just breakdowns and breakdowns and breakdowns.

Hello,
I just tried to submit "E-an-na" from Romania, but apparently it's blacklisted. Can you please tell me why it was blacklisted?

In 2016 they released their (EP) "Jiana" (https://e-an-na.bandcamp.com/album/jiana).
They released in 2019 a full album "Nesfârşite" (https://e-an-na.bandcamp.com/album/nesf-r-ite).
In 2021 they released "Fascinathanatango" (EP) (https://e-an-na.bandcamp.com/album/fascinathanatango), a complet different genre for them and their fans and "M.L.R." (EP) - with more eastern influenced traditional music (https://e-an-na.bandcamp.com/album/m-l-r).

Thank you!

Topics merged.

The post above sums up the first two releases perfectly since they are indeed mostly folk/core. In "Fascinathanatango" I don't think I've heard a single metal riff. "M.L.R." sounds predominantly like folk with some modern rock thrown into it. So it's going to be one very easy no.

Well, in 2021 the completly left the metal area and released an EP M.L.R. (anagram for 'Muie La Rockeri' or in english roughly translated as 'blowjob for the rockers' a slang for 'fuck the rockers') where their musical approach is manele, a kind of balkan folk music.
Here's their proud clip: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJSrbvtDbW0

And why exactly should we care about this? You do realize that to be listed on this site the band needs to have at least one predominantly metal album, right? So I don't get what's the purpose of this post. So read the rules of this subforum to know what this subforum is about and what you should and shouldn't do here. Then read the rules of the site to know what this site is about. Just so you don't waste our time with useless posts like this one.

I was agreeing with your decision that this band don't deserve to be on this site.
Thanks.

Yeah, that's indicated in the rules I linked among "things to avoid", so you will know better next time.

How exactly? I can barely hear a single metal riff in this. It will have to be a no.

I still don’t understand why they band is blacklisted if they have one predominantly metal album: Nesfârșite (2019): https://e-an-na.bandcamp.com/album/nesf-r-ite
I know there are recent albums which are not metal, but this should not matter according to the rules because they do have one metal album (I would argue their first short album from 2016, Jiana, is also metal).

Simple, because they don't have a predominantly metal album. Bringing up the same band over and over again is not going to change our minds. Bring it up only if their next album happens to be significantly more metal than everything they've released so far. Otherwise don't bother.

If the album I linked (Nesfârșite) is not a folk metal album, what genre of music is it?

Folk/-core as it was already said in this exact topic. Meaning folk metalcore that is based in -core, not in metal. Thus, this story ends.
