Hello,

I play in the Canadian progressive metal band The Night Watch and would like to appeal our current blacklisted status. Our first album was more of a prog release with metal elements which may have lead to this decision. However, I believe our last release and our upcoming release are metal enough for the esteemed archives.

Boundaries (2016) https://thenightwatch.bandcamp.com/album/boundaries
An Embarrassment of Riches (2019) https://thenightwatch.bandcamp.com/albu ... -of-riches

Thanks!

Based on the 2016 album, the prog rock and folk elements still predominate.

If the upcoming release is significantly different, feel free to post in here again once it's out.

I suppose no one ever brought up the second album when it came out. Lots of weird genre stuff going on, but I'm hearing plenty of riffs throughout.

That sounds like folk/prog rock with some metal interferences here and there. Even when it gets heavier it sounds like guitars are more of a backdrop for the folky orchestral stuff going on rather than the main focus.
