Hello there,

I tried to submit "Vale" from the Pittsburgh, PA (United States), but it's been blacklisted. The one album they have out definitely contains some lighter post-rock parts, but it also has a lot of heavy parts with metal characteristics. It seems like it would fit in the atmospheric black metal category more than any other category. It seems metal enough to me, but maybe I'm missing something here.

Here is the bandcamp for reference: https://valeband.bandcamp.com/

Thanks!

Eh. Blacklisted for being mostly post-rock with some metal bits. I agree, there's barely any actual metal riffing and the other songs are more the illusion of atmospheric black metal at best with the harsh vocals.

I dunno, I'm a guitarist and it always feels like playing a giant cock. Not just that but live music should hit you in the genitals. It might not if you don't use good amplifiers and your modelling shit goes straight out of the PA. But good music hits you HARD in the GENITALS.

The band has since released two more albums that sound much more like acceptable Atmo-Black Metal.

Think the latest album is predominantly metal. Go ahead.
