I think he meant they aren't.

They're not blacklisted, Guard. Why are you posting this here? If you think a band qualifies, submit it. If you're unsure, maybe best not to. No pre-checks.

I did not open this thread to "pre check", I actually and legitimately believed Iwatchedherdie was blacklisted. I had a distant memory of once checking if the band was BL'd some time ago, this is my bad and my mistake for trusting distant memories instead of checking before I made this thread.

Best regards. This band was blacklisted the other year only based on their debut album from 2008, however, for the first time someone uploaded their full self-titled EP from 2006 to YouTube. All that said, could the band be re-evaluated only based on that EP?

I haven't listened to it yet but it's very possible that this EP was only released on MySpace. If that's not the case, someone would need to find proof of a physical copy or some legitimate digital distribution of the EP besides MySpace. Perhaps this can go in the "bands in need of research" thread?

Okay I found a mp3 site that's selling it but I'm not sure if it's legit or not. https://www.mp3million.com/download/IWATCHEDHERDIE

Those sites claim to operate on some shady Ukrainian law/license agreement that allows them to provide their service and claim that all music on their sites are licensed, but that's hardly the case. This is similar to all those torrent sites that claim to be completely legal using some foreign law loophole.
Hence on their own these sites aren't proof for VR in any way just because they make money by selling things.

But since they are a store selling music, they are of course valid when there's third party information that proofs it is official (e.g. a band or label stating that those sites are official distributors of their music).

Anyway, from a musical perspective three mods are leaning yes on it, so I'm marking it green but keep it blacklisted until proof for VR pops up. Feel free to bring them up in the research topic.
