So as far as I can tell this band is brought up every time they drop a new album. Here we go again... They've just released this new record last month, and while it does have a good dose of Hardcore, it also has lots of thrash/groove metal and I was surprised to hear even sludgy/doomy parts on it.
Even the track with the girl from Evanescence sounds metal, not too dissimilar from many of these newer female fronted "gothic metal" bands.
So here it is:

They released a new album last March called Carnivore. Of their entire discography, that one from a cursory listen makes the strongest case for their inclusion since Born Dead.

At this point, Body Count is a full on Metalcore act, but still (in my non-moderator opinion) falls closer to Hardcore than Metal. The trouble with Rap Metal generally is that the music strays much closer to Hard Alternative, Nu-Metal and '90s Hardcore (especially Beatdown bands) than it does Metal proper. Bands like Lone Rager are the extreme exception rather than the rule.

Heard the whole thing, 2-3 metal tracks on there like Hate Is Real but it doesn't seem more metal than their other stuff at first glance.

Calling Body Count rap metal is so crazy cuz he's not even rapping he's just black lmaoooo

They're metalcore now but first couple albums are crossover thrash. I just don't get it.

No moderator (their names are red or gold, if that helps) in this thread even said anything about rapping, so I don't know why you bring this up.

You're entitled to your opinion, but this appeal has already been denied, please don't bump threads uselessly.

I strongly believe that Body Count (Ice-T's metal band) was blacklisted unfairly, because they are very much metal enough, they aren't nu-metal, but more groove/thrash metal, especially their new stuff.
May I please have the reasoning why they were blacklisted?
Thank You!

Is it really that difficult to use the search function and post in the existing thread as explicitly stated in the rules? It's a simple rule, please follow it.
