Hello MA staff,

I'm the drummer for Ixkal, the band was submitted to the site as Melodic Death/Thrash Metal and we would like to appeal to that.

Since the release of our first EP in 2013 we are aware that our style of music was definitely Melodic Metal and Gustavo (guitar) and Dennis (original singer) had a huge influence from As I Lay Dying, In Flames and other bands from the "core" scene basically, so we went with Melodic Deathcore as that was what Dennis believed we were.
