I recently added Electric Swan but it has been rejected. This is a Hard Rock band for true, but two of the members (Lucio Calegari and Monica Sardella), played for years in the band Wicked Minds which is defined as Thrash Metal for the early years. Lucio is the founder of the band, while Monica played also in Stoner Metal band The Weed. Why can be considered as a side-project of these two long time members of metal bands?

Sadly, the rules on the main page are a fair bit outdated in this point and could need an update. Here's a news post regarding this topic:

Basically, we don't really include non-metal side-project unless they have a major impact within the metal scene and consist of very notable metal musicians. Some argue that we should stop adding side-projects alltogether, but I think this is the current consensus but also needs some further discussion.

As with Electric Swan, neither of the members is very notable in the metal scene, at least not to an extent that would be required. Also Electric Swan definitely doesn't have a major impact on the metal scene, given that it's a rather unknown band.
Hence we won't accept them as a side-project. Sorry.
