Hey, I noticed Dividing The Element from Zimbabwe have been black listed? They seem fairly metal to me (I'd probably call them folk/groove metal), although I remember there being a pretty big gap between when they started releasing individual tracks on streaming services vs when they actually came out with their full-length.

Could a mod tell me why they've been black listed? Thanks!

Third Street and Thanks For Nothing are probably the best examples of metal riffs.

Blacklisted for being djenty Deathcore in 2013. They released new stuff that seems a bit more metallic. Not quite sure here, so I'll whitelist it for a closer look in the band queue.

I think there's some of that in their sound but I'd call them firmly metal. When the band have discussed their influences in the past it's mostly groove metal, along with some 90's rock/grunge.
