I recently went to submit Tennessee DSBM act Solum, but discovered the project was blacklisted. Curious as to why this was the case since I couldn't find a reason (maybe I was just looking in the wrong place).

I know DSBM is sort of a touchy subject on the Archives, but I believe their debut album, released in 2018, could be deemed acceptable. Although it has ambient moments, the riffs are distinguishable, varied, and undeniably metal in my opinion. It also had a physical release through Share Your Pain Records if that helps.

I figured as much. I appreciate the consideration. I have contact with the artist, so I'll bump this thread again if he releases something more metal in the future.
