Howdy fellas.

Ancient Tundra is an ambient project of Hypnotic Dirge Records founder N Skog, and it was understandably blacklisted specifically for that, with the latest appeal being in 2012.

However, I would like them to be reevaluated based on the two releases since, ones that attempt to move the sound in a more black metal direction. I am well aware that "more black metal direction" doesn't necessarily mean "black metal", but there is a significant amount of it to warrant at least another look.

Here are some bandcamp links:
https://ancienttundra.bandcamp.com/album/all-light-has-since-escaped-me (one song EP, guest vocals from Altars of Grief's singer, if anything this is the release that has the best shot)
https://ancienttundra.bandcamp.com/album/lost-in-claustrophobic-thought (first and last song are pretty standard ambient fare, but fair amount of metal in the mid two songs)
https://ancienttundra.bandcamp.com/album/a-desolation-requiem-engulfing-winds-during-an-equinox-an-ancient-tundra-anthology-2007-2010 (barely any metal in this one, but just as a comparison point with how their previous material was like)

Hmmmm does sound... more metal (That EP doesn't, though), but Idk if a single should be fine in whitelisting the band, even if it is 10 minutes.
