Probably one of the most controversial bands in the earlier days of MA.
Accoding to the archives, one album is enough to get a band added to the archives.
For LDOH, that album is "The sound of rancid juices sloshing around your coffin". It's their least "noisy" album, and their most melodic one. I think this album can actually make LDOH being added to the list.

That album, and Hymns of Indigestible Suppuration, were evaluated thoroughly in 2018. They're borderline, I would argue for their acceptance personally, but the mod team as a whole found them to still be more noisegrind than metal on those albums. Blacklisting stays.

Hello. Is there a chance for the staff to reconsider LDOH based on their new album "Horrific Compositions of Decomposition" ? It"s out in a few hours on the 1st of March and already listenable here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uX6uxflm78w

Based on this sole album, it doesn't fit anymore the definition we find in the Rules section from the site ("Grindcore (and all its variants; noise, crust, powerviolence, gore, etc) with little to zero metal riffs or influence (ex: Anal Cunt, Libido Airbag, Last Days of Humanity)"). Quite (metal) riff-ey compared to their latest stuff and guitars are now audible (yey !).

Cheers.

Once again jumping the gun, I see.
The "no upcoming albums" is just as true for appeals as it is for submissions.

Sorry, but that doesn't sound like it's predominantly metal.

Paganius please, we were 30 minutes before the release date of the new album (and I couldn't be less "jumping the gun" since we were already the 1st in France and Germany, from which the label Rotten Roll Rex is... so already out). My question was for the staff to be able to LISTEN to it and see if it would fit in a hypothetic-future-consisting-of-some-user-proposing-this-band-again-after-it-might-be-unblacklisted. I didn't make any submission or whatever... But I see.

Doesn't matter. We don't work on "hypothetic-future-consisting-of-some-user-proposing-this-band-again-after-it-might-be-unblacklisted" whether it's 30 minutes before the release date or 3 years.
This is simply unfair to users that actually stick to our rules and wait for something to be released before bringing it up and we don't want to encourage that kinda crap.

Well (not to mention again it was out according to the label's place of residence), everyone knows this band is blacklisted and no user can submit it unless you allow to, so I wonder what's the problem with this specific post. Just wanted for you to notice new stuff was out and may be acceptable according to the rules you mention. But I don't have time to argue. Cheers.

yeah, you've probably seen last days of humanity on here a million times, but now, with the new album I think it fits

I'd disagree that coffin juices is more metal than punk/noise but I'd definitely say the new album is, I'd advise you to try again with that but i just did so we'll see if I was right in time :)

If a mod says no, creating a separate thread for the same band won't turn a no into a yes. It doesn't work that way.

What new material? This album has already been brought up and it was a no, so the only thing that can happen here is that the thread gets locked and that's it.

I was just in the previous thread for this band and my understanding is that the previous user tried to bring the new album to the mod's attention before the date of release, but since he presented it before it was released the mod refused to look at it until another user brought it up again on principle. And that's what this thread is for.

The rules specifically say "DO NOT make duplicate threads for bands that already have threads! If you're found to have made a duplicate thread, it will be locked with a link indicating where to find the original thread on that band." So there is no justification for this thread whatsoever.

I also listened to the new album independently of PaganiusI, hoping it would be metal enough for them to be added to the site, and was left feeling disappointed. The production is more discernible for sure, but there's still a large amount of noisegrind where you can't tell what the guitars are even doing due to the blasting, and the guitar parts that are audible are generally more like downtuned grindcore of the punk variety than Carcass-styled metal goregrind or any other type of metal (though there are some brief metal bits as well mixed in). I gave them the benefit of the doubt and they disappointed me. This album is definitely not their time.

Also the album was turned down before the release for being prematurely AND after the release date for not being metal enough.

In March 1, 2021, LDOH release what can be the most metallic material of all their releases, with riffs more pulled to Death Metal. Could you analyze the album so that it can be accepted in MA?

Horrific Compositions of Decomposition (2021)
