It's too funny... You reject Asgalun on the site saying that "Asgalun isn't a Metal stuff"... It's ok... But Fata Morgana isn't a Metal project, Vond isn't a Metal project and Mortiis isn't a Metal project, and you let these stuff on the site... Asgalun follow the same line of the musical style... Myquestion is: why your rules are to some, but not toothers??? I saw that Justice is far away from this site... Unfortunely, this show us that all this speach of "union" and"Music for All" is a great bullshit... I will not to cooperate with this site anymore... But I felt the need to saythis words, my viewpoint...

Mortiis and his peripheral projects are selected exceptions, which have been added for their historical relevance and overall connection to the Metal Scene as a whole. Dungeon Synth/Dark Ambient by itself, as a genre, is not accepted.

Additionally, there will be some non-metal bands featured on the site that we feel are still part of the metal scene despite not being metal themselves (usually darkwave, ambient, neo-classical and/or folk bands, examples being Mortiis, Elend, Autumn Tears, Stille Volk, etc). These bands are selected by the moderators in an admittedly arbitrary fashion, and their submission by normal users is discouraged. Please bear with us on this.

Non-metal projects included arbitrarily as they are seen by the staff to belong as a part of the metal scene. Their inclusion is rare, exceptional, and discretionary of the staff.

We do NOT accept the following (this is our decision, please don't argue this):
Mallcore, also known as "nu-metal" by some
Metalcore and Deathcore, unless it's clearly more metal than core. If you are uncertain, best avoid metalcore bands altogether.
Glam rock
Classic rock
Progressive rock
Psychedelic rock, Occult rock
Hard rock
Hardcore
Grindcore (and all its variants; noise, crust, powerviolence, gore, etc) with little to zero metal riffs or influence
Punk
Gothic rock
Industrial
Alternative/modern hard rock
J-Rock, Visual Kei Rock, Touhou
Djent
Ambient, Drone, Noise
Post-rock, Post-punk, Post-hardcore
Cover/tribute/gimmick bands of contemporary artists (metal versions of traditional folk songs can be OK), unless they start as such and eventually write their own music

Okay, bro ... I just don't think it's fair for you to use two weights, two measures ... If the rule applies to one, it should apply to everyone ... I have always been a fan of this site because it's literally an Encyclopedia to search for bands, albums, songs and lyrics ... And as I saw not only Mortiis stuff (which is the foundation of sound influence for Asgalun) but other projects that follow the same line, I didn't think it would be okay to put Asgalun there ... You said that you consider Mortiis as part of the metal scene ... You are right because such styles as Dark Ambient, Dark Dungeon Music and Ambient Music are styles born out of Metal ... Despite the select audience, the audience for these styles are basically formed by metal fans ... In my view, such an attitude from you only tends to drive people away from the site, because fewer people would visit the site, since several sub styles are left out ... I told some friends about your policy and many are shocked by the attitude radical of you ...

Ambient wasn't born from metal. It's a style of electronic music that is actually older than metal.
Dark Ambient artists often have an industrial background.

While both genres do have a massive overlap with (mostly black metal) bands, they are themselves not part of the metal scene.

We fully understand that our way of handling non-metal exclusions isn't perfect. In fact there's loads of disagreeance between the staffers, ranging from "nuke em all" to "we should include more".
That finally lead to the conclusion/decision that we only archive those non-metal side-projects that are (in our opinion) of "key importance" to the metal scene and metal history as a whole.
