Hi,

My band was not accepted by The Metal Archives labeled as "not metal".
Well, my album is Ambient black metal, i didn't use guitars.
Then all metal without guitars isn't metal?
Also, how about the lastest Burzum albums (one of my inspirations), isn't it metal?
My band has a metal feeling, a metal environment, metal lyrics. And just because it has
no guitars it can not be metal?
The first song has a sample, just to create the feeling. My band is Metal.

Please, check my Album on Bandcamp and see it for yourselves:

This is not metal. Even if you added guitars, it would not be metal.

A band only needs one decisively metal album to appear on our site. Even if their first album is fully metal and later albums are totally lacking in guitars/riffs, they will still have an entry. We judge metal based on the riffs in the music and lyrics have no bearing. Your definition of metal is likely different from ours, and that's fine, but we have to draw a line somewhere and understand that we cannot please everyone.
