They released a hard rock single "Radar Love/Christine" in 1986, which probably got them blacklisted.

Earlier, they had some appearances on acceptable split albums (i.e. six or less bands), which, in my humble opinion, sound acceptable:
Southern Comfort (1983), with songs "Mystery Lady" and "Sail Me Away" (https://thecorroseum.org/comps/southerncomfort1.html)
Metal Warriör (1987), with song "Power of the Realm" (https://thecorroseum.org/comps/metalwarrior.html)

They also had song "Madhouse", but it was on a compilation that featured seven bands and is irrelevant here.

Yes, these sound okay. The band was blacklisted in 2013, referencing the original single song as more hard rock than metal and also the split/comp appearances as "kinda metal". I am not sure if this was before or after the number of artists on valid splits was increased to 6. Either way, I think this is good to go. Whitelisted.
