While their second album is unacceptable metalcore, their first album, Guardians, features a lot of Gothenburg style melo death riffs and solos. Here's the full album for consideration. Thanks.

I've always been on the fence on Crimson Armada's debut--leaning yes on the fence. It does sound like acceptable metalcore to me, but I think we'll need more affirmations than just me.

I haven't listened to their debut yet but I have listened to their 2008 EP Behold the Architect. It sounds like acceptable Black Dahla Murder-core to me.

PS, as a side note, if this band does get added, this was not a Christian band. The vocalist, Saud Ahmed, clarified that the band has not written about Jesus, and only made songs about God in general. There are Christians in the band but Saud is not one. There are even Arabic prayers that come from the Quran. However, Saud does not seem to be Muslim either, and just included the prayer since it is a "personal prayer."

So I'd say for the lyrical themes, just put "religion, spirituality, monotheism" or something along those lines.

Link to an archived version of Saud's Tumblr where he clarifies this.

I agree that the debut album is acceptable (didn't listen to the EP), but we'll probably want to take a closer look at this in the queue. Whitelisted; joecubbie, please submit.
