I would like to appeal the rejection of the band Drelnoch based on their latest release, which I believe solidifies them in the black metal genre.

This release has a far more metal direction than the previous demo. While some aspects are still a bit unorthodox, I believe there are many indisputable metal elements predominating throughout, including tremolo picking, palm muting and metal-style solos. The general instrumentation is consistent with the style of traditional black metal.

With a running time of about 15 minutes, Blatant Disregard accounts for more than 50% of the band’s output and therefore I believe it is a solid representation of their sound. I encourage you to give this sophomore release a listen and see what you think.
