Hello,

I am not sure if this is the right subforum for this question, so if that's the case, where should I post this? Anyway, my question. I submitted a band called Nyron a couple of days ago and they have a demo out on the label Blood of Chthulhu. Now the reason the band got rejected because the release was deemed to amateuristic for the website and I should wait until a valid release. Now I am under the impression that being signed to a record label is not "amateuristic" at all. Why does this not count as a valid release, even though it was released on a record label? Thanks in advance.

You didn't read the full rejection message.

or generally insufficient (usually at least two digital singles are required) according to our guidelines.

The band only has one song. 3 versions of that one song, but still just one song.

Additionally, the Band Appeals forum would've been the correct answer to "Is this the right subforum?"

Thanks for this information. I thought the "2 digital releases" was a standard thing that is just added to any band with less than that. Thanks for the information I know this for the future!
