This "band" is "blacklisted" but considering it's such a simple one word name, I don't think it's out of the question that they could be confused with another band.

Regardless, Candy (signed to Relapse Records) are a 5 piece extreme metal/hardcore band from Richmond, Virginia with noisy loud production, with an uncompromising and aggressive approach to their songwriting, bringing heavy riffage, pounding drums with everything from blast beats, to d-beat, and everything in between. Large hardcore influence sure, but I believe their most recent effort, 2022's Heaven Is Here is at times borderline sludge metal, not to refer to them as a sludge band, just a possible influence for them. Please take these guys into consideration, thanks.

The blacklist is for this same Candy, and it's for being more hardcore than metal. After asking in the Staff Channel, the three mods that looked at it said it still leans more hardcore than metal.
