I'm assuming blacklisted for being hard rock/AOR. While very melodic and boasting production tropes of the era, the riffs on their first album, Howling Will, come off as very metallic, resulting in almost a more polished/pomp spin on the Loudness sound. Perhaps acceptable melodic HM/HR? Here is the full album for consideration.

The blacklisting for "hard rock" was ancient, so I decided to have a few folks listen to it, and four mods (including myself) feel that the hard rock note is accurate.
