I would say that there is one song on here that is not metal, which is track 2 (Weltenbrand). But otherwise, it seems like most of this is pretty much doom/sludge metal with somewhat of a hardcore bent, but (hopefully) not enough to disqualify them from the site

Yes, the riffs are simple, but sludge can be that way at times. While some songs have start-stop hardcore breakdowns, there are unequivocal metal riffs at 0:40 in track 3, as well as at around 2 minutes into the laat track, Naher der Stille to name a couple. Is the issue that the band is too hardcore-influenced?

Blacklisted for being riffless sludge based in hardcore. And yeah, it sounds hardcore-based to me as well, so I'm afraid this will remain blacklisted until there is a new album to consider. Sorry
