This band does have a discography. They released their first EP yesterday and I thought I added the EP to their page when I submitted them.

I just have recognised that "Moment Maniacs" (Swedish Crust with Marduk and Wolfbrigade members that had a lot of Black Metal riffing and the BM-vocal-style in the sound) was deleted. Was there any complaint ?

Edit: Search-function for the forum didn't show me anything specific.

No, but songsamples emerged on myspace. Same problem as Wolbrigade. Not metal enough: I do not hear any black metal riffing in their music, only slight Entombed influences in one or two songs.

Ok, sounds fair. I had this CD different in my mind (more like the BM-vocals in the chorus of Flesh Power Dominion on the myspace webpage throughout whole songs). Have listened to this CD some 7-8 years ago for the last time... didn't remember that it was typical Crust vocals in 99% of the time.

They have an EP released in 2009 but it seems that might be download only.

Maybe Belial has a physical copy he could show to the moderators?

Shall I resubmit the band again with pictures of the CD?
The thing is I remember the other reviewer said he received a CD for the review.

ha, nindriel was rejected again, because of not-metal-enough^^

can live with that, maybe we're gonna make some fuckin' money instead

honestly:
is it possible to resubmit, if it turns out that our next album/ep is far more metal (we just started to implement blastbeats and more *riffs* and stuff) or will this lead to nothing? just for my information.

if not so, ok then 8-)

Yes, the band can be reconsidered if the next release is more metal.

If none of the mods has a facebook account you can take a screenshot of the page and upload it to imageshack.

The band Murder Ink was taken off the archives a few months ago and I'd like to know why. I submitted an error to the archives because of a contradicting forming year and a change of genre (Heavy Metal/Rock 'n Roll) and it never got put back on. I have a link to a song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoJnIW5pPVk
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Resubmit and include the link to the picture in the notes.

On a sidenote, the "no links" has been removed everywhere now.

The band is not metal, but plays dirty rocknroll/punk.

Reead the first post in this thread. If they "rock hard" does not interest us at all, so stop with that shameless self-promotion.

What matters, is their metalness.
You even did not mention which band it was and did not provide links for us to hear them here.

Earlier today I submitted the band RU36 and they were rejected for not being a metal band. I put them down as "Electro Metal" as I had little idea of what their genre was, and I understand if they were rejected due to what I listed them as, but RU36 is a metal band. Below, I have a link to their song, "Neo Latha Hatha Datha" from their third album, "Dumpster in the Sky"

Still sounds quite borderline, more hardcore with industrial touch than metal.

Hello, i received an e-mail, that my submission for the band JBO has been rejected because i didn't add any releases of them.
I really understand this, and i don't want to complain about it, i just want to inform you that the band has a discography, they have like 20 albums released.
The thing is that when i added this band, i didn't have much time, so i couldn't add any album,i thought i might do this later....well i was wrong :P

And about the metalness, i can guarantee you that the band is metal, even if they don't look like it, they might sound softer, but you can clearly hear the metal influence in their songs.

Greetings
MBL

If it is the famous German band, then they have already been reviewed and are considered not metal enough. When a famous band is missing, it is always for a reason.

Hello,

why is Soulfly not allowed to be in the metal archives? since the album "Dark Ages" they became a Thrash/Groove Metal Band and are not less Metal than other bands in the archives.

Use the search function. It has been discussed countless times. And look what Witcher said just above, if the band was eligible it would be here since the beginning.

Since the new album Omen came out I haven't seen any moderator remark on it, even though to my ears the album is entirely thrash/groove. Soulfly may not be on the archives, but I really don't know why not, because they are not a nu-metal band anymore. There hasn't been a shred of nu-metal in their sound since Dark Ages. Conquer and Omen are both thrash/groove metal albums to my ears.

Is Omen a metal album? If so, can Soulfly be added? If not, that breaks the rules, at least one metal album can allow a band to be added to M-A.

If Omen is not a metal album, exactly how is it not so? It would be reasonable to offer a detailed explanation as to why.

Just because they also made their EPs available for free download does not merit a denial due to "No physical release."

They are also signed to Init records and have a full length coming out sometime in June if I remember correctly.

Here is the denial note from the other thread:
"Wolvhammer: http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=3540301871

No physical release.

Two digital EPs:
"OUR LATEST EP "DAWN OF THE 4TH" AND OUR FIRST SLAB OF FILTH "RICH WITH BLOODFUEL" ARE AVAILABLE FOR FREE DOWNLOAD AT www.wolvhammer.blogspot.com "

+ Upcoming full-length (not released yet) through Init Records:
· http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuse ... =525406050"

These dudes are metal as fuck. And they have most definitely released physical copies of their records... and last I checked they still had a bunch available at shows.
I have not resubmitted. I have read the guidelines and FAQ in the OP in this thread. They fit the bill. Would it help if I took pictures of their CDs?

Ok. So aparently Wolvhammer's new record is out and available through Init records.
http://initrecords.bigcartel.com/produc ... cd-init-63

You can read the press release/blog posting on Init's website.
http://initrecords.com/index.php

If this doesn't get them approved, I don't know what will.

Not metal. Are you able to understand, that band promotion other than on the promotion subforum is not allowed?!
