https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Sinner/22100

The 1st track sounds more like bluesy early '70s hard rock with few metal leanings, the other 2 tracks are basically blues rock.

Sinner deleted. Hard to believe that one was here for 18 years.

Pending:
- Ella - https://www.metal-archives.com/report/v ... /show/mine - the "Diva Metal" album is what this band was added based on, as documented on an earlier page of this thread. A report with suggestions regarding the issue: https://www.metal-archives.com/report/v ... 5/show/all , and another about the genre: https://www.metal-archives.com/report/v ... 8/show/all
- Bronze Gates of Hell - https://www.metal-archives.com/report/view/id/794128 (recent response received, June 3)
- Silent Screams - indifferent; some of their music sounds metal to me, but there are a lot of breakdowns that make it somewhat questionable.
- Revolt (Italy) - didn't have a very thorough listen, but sounded like a slightly more -core second half of the '90s Pantera, more on the side of passable.
- Another case of a band that someone claims owning the rights to (listed as a former member), and has legal codes to "prove it": https://www.metal-archives.com/report/view/id/794829

Someone put in 2 visitor reports this year suggesting that The Blood (UK) be removed from the site. I just gave their EP another listen, and it contains great metal - especially the all-time classic song "Incubus". The only reason I'm posting about it here is because today's follow-up report to the one from back in April included a gripe that their original report on the matter was "losed without explanation" (sic). There is no user name to respond back to on a visitor report, so if you want a response, please sign in and ask for one specifically. Azmodes also placed an opinion on this back in 2014, stating that "Se Parare Nex" is a metal release. Please, don't put in more than one report like this - we're trying to get caught up in that queue.

Just very curious about what album was Cockney Rejects based on to be accepted? I think the album like "The Wild Ones" is an NWOBHM written record but I could be wrong or not 100% accurate

https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Riven/3540439616

This band was accepted in 2018. I do not see how this is metal.
https://rivendoom.bandcamp.com/album/hail-to-the-king

When you listen to the latest releases, there are even less guitars than in the 2018 release.

not metal. Not even guitars. Or is there a special reason this band remains in the archive?

Kostas Panagiotou isn't on the list of exceptions/side projects.

Well, there's this EP:
https://pantheistuk.bandcamp.com/album/chapters-ep
https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/K ... ers/592088

Provided that this is considered metal enough, the genre should be changed, that's for sure.

(yesterday) Deleted SDT - someone had posted about it in the research thread and had it previously rejected for the same information a few years ago.

Deleted these bands that were accepted to the site based only on a digital release from a bootleg/unofficial Bandcamp page, Legion Hitam Nusantara ( https://legionhitamnusantara.bandcamp.com/ ). All are from Indonesia:
- Sintaz
- Puaka
- Scindapsus
- Tanduk Setan

Pending:

- Riven - seconding the suggestion for deletion.
- Kostas Panagiotou - deletion seems like a good idea to me, as well. "Chapters" has some distorted guitar with chords ringing out, but wouldn't exactly call what is going on 'riffing', (imo) not convincing enough to carry the rest of their outside-genre discography onto the site.

Thanks - deleted.

Regarding Amon / Amon Goeth - in my opinion it looks like busywork to combine the pages. Each has a lot of data, and there are some benefits to having them on separate pages (sometimes one is tougher to find through search, and it can sometimes cause confusion when you're seeing the logo on the cover that isn't the same as what the page is listed as (not everyone looks in additional notes), so best to keep as is I think. We've been doing less of these lately, because a couple of moderators voiced some of the points included in this message. Thanks for pointing it out, though.

Deleted Illogo (Ita). Mathcore/industrial. There's some metal on the early demos, but far from predominant.

If you ask me, Ella & The Boys's music is much more oriented towards AOR/Hard Rock, although there's quite a bit of Metal present. For reference, here are the two albums:

Metal songs: "Anak Merdeka", "Tak Lagi Kesunyian", "Aku Tak Bersalah", "Engkau Yang Masih Ku Sayang", "Pahlawan Jalan Raya"

Not enough to make for a primary, so it probably won't be acceptable. The Diva Metal album from her solo years might make the cut, though. It's a solid mix of '80s-style Heavy Metal/Hard Rock with the Metal edging out the Rock.

EDIT: Would be helpful if I included Diva Metal here.

No one seemed to feel strongly enough about Silent Screams or Revolt to warrant deletion.
Skotose is in disputed status, and noted as such now. It will remain on the site.
It was decided that Bronze Gates of Hell should stay. https://www.metal-archives.com/report/view/id/794128
Kostas Panagiotou will be kept based on "Chapters" (noted on the page, and genre adjusted).
Riven's full-length album was deemed acceptable.

- Desolation (UK) - was accepted in 2010, so based on this release: https://worndownrecords.bandcamp.com/al ... corruption . Some metal, some -core. Not feeling strongly one way or the other.
