Deleted Dragon-Fly (Russia) - no VR, just a bunch of demo tracks on their website, the album was never finished.

Not accepted yet but the band Sanctify the Serpent (AUS) are now Sanct (AUS) and the band is in the submission line. Is that name change valid enough to warrant a new page?

Vietnamese downtempo band, this is the same exact genre as stuff like Traitors or Black Tongue which is omitted due to being almost nothing but breakdowns (which this is)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZut9_DfXII
https://gaidown.bandcamp.com/track/the-void

Only 2 songs they have out

I submitted this band based off the "The Void" single as at the time bands were accepted on 5 minute singles.
Thought It fitted due to being BDM inspired down-tempo/beatdown. Didn't know about the previous song

I really dont mean this in a rude way, but you kind of have this recurring thing where I noticed you tend to say a deathcore band has "brutal death metal" influence even when they clearly dont (I'm almost positive nobody in that band even listens to BDM). That first single has more in common with Sworn In than anything else, "The Void" is slightly more metal (has a whole section with riffs) but overall still sounds mostly like Black Tongue than any deathcore band on the site. with that said I hope this can get looked at cuz this definitely feels like unacceptable downtempo...Again I dont mean any disrespect with any of that though.

https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Hy ... iscography

The EP on band's bandcamp page, is just three tracks from the full album, that will be released on Odium Records in May:

https://hylofficial.bandcamp.com/album/ ... ess-is-all
https://odiumrecords.bandcamp.com/album ... ess-is-all

Same cover, not sure this is a legit submission for a moment.

Why was this band accepted? I don't see any proof of any release anywhere on the internet, no proof that "4513 Productions" even exists or anything else about this band. All of the members only played on this band it seems, and there was a report in 2012 that was closed.

There are a lot of bands on the site that you won't find anything elsewhere on the internet about. Some are just that obscure (and this band's release is now about 16 years old). Websites containing relevant information get taken offline sometimes, and their live album doesn't seem to have been widespread or highly-commercialized, but was a release by the site's definition of the term, nonetheless - a minimum of 10 physical copies distributed to the general public. In 2007 bands with only digital discographies weren't accepted. All bands get checked when being added.
If you want to research it further to be able to add in a track listing, here are the links that I'd suggest:
https://www.facebook.com/4513Productions/
https://www.facebook.com/JustinDowhower
https://www.facebook.com/joe.wohlitz
(some of Evan Parliament's other music on SoundCloud):
https://soundcloud.com/evsapi
You could also try Ben Kuzay (https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Ben_Kuzay/120569 - see 'related links'), who is having Wohlitz engineer a solo project release for him at Jtw Recording Studio in Milwaukee currently. He might be able to pass on a message, or provide you with contact information where research regarding Army of Hades can continue from here.

Just realized that the report that you referenced also gave an answer, so your post wasn't necessary. Please don't put in more reports or posts like it in the future (especially prior to more thorough research).

No, it seems to be a different band. As of 2019 Trollskogen (France) had one release out according to the blacklisting note, which isn't the case with the Austrian band according to Discogs.

Regarding Hyl, it seems fine to just leave it as is (in my opinion). The CD will be out soon, and it will just be a little bit of extra work that could be better spent on other site tasks to delete it and very soon add it back. Other moderators, feel free to delete if it seems like that would be a better solution, though.

These bands are pending attention:

Plagiarizes Skumring. 6:30 in the first track is lifted from Suvn, opening riff of II is lifted from the song De Glemte Tider

Other riffs may be lifted from other sources. When I recognized the other Skumring riff, I realized I had a duty to post it here.

Since then I've listened to Decesso a bit more and it sounds like more than just a few riffs were lifted. The two songs are essentially covers of Skumring's two songs, although with somewhat different tempo and harsh vocals instead.

Any chance this could be challenged? Azmodes assessed this band back in 2020, or is that a no go?

I have been listening to this band on and off over the past few weeks and I'm just not sure about it. I don't think it's obviously deletable, but I find it hard to concentrate.

The band DanybProject got renamed to Demente Resurrección since the only release that had been added actually belonged to the latter, which didn't have an entry yet, and the rest of the DanybProject discography is not metal at all.

First track from Goat Horness titled "Desecration" is in fact Pseudogod's "Vehement Decimation".
Second track from Goat Horness titled "Ghost of the black winds" sounds like it might have a few songs glued together. Not sure exactly which songs or bands but it sounds a bit like Konflict or Reek of the Unzen Gas Fumes.

The rest is, Archgoat I believe.

Gospel of hate = Grand Marshall of the Black Tower
Antichrist victory = Angel of Sodomy
Goat horness = Invocation + Desecration

Yup, that's accurate. Deleted.

So is the Austrian one ok to add? Or is it not metal enough? (They're black/ambient as far as I hear it)

They're not blacklisted, so if they are primarily metal in your opinion, you can submit them.
