It would be nice to have a feature like that so you could find the albums that you have added easier.

Like these:
My bands
My profile
My collection
My reviews
My reports
My band recs.
My bookmarks

Have one called:
My albums

+1.

On the site stats it's possible to see the top 10 but there is no other way to know how many a user has submitted, or what, other than trawling through Moderation History. It's clear the site does store this data. I've often wondered myself.

I hope not. A ton of versions get dumped as dupes every month regardless of which came first. Normally, the most complete version is the one that's kept. Some users, and I'm not going to say who, have even developed the habit of adding new versions - flagging the original for deletion - claiming that their intention was to modify existing entries and not to add new ones. So, should such a feature be introduced, I think some users wouldn't show sportsmanship the way you'd expect them to. ;)

Always a risk - but that's why we have staff that can moderate and report, I guess. Personally, I really would like a way to be able to see how many releases I've added. We can see bands we've added, and reviews, and such, so for completist sake, I'm totally all for this.

I'd be happy to take on extra work trawling the site to report anyone trying to circumnavigate this, but I doubt that's practical.

Pardon the mini-necro. Was a decision ever made on this?

No plans to implement this, as far as I know.
