I am pretty new to this site, but I noticed someone added my project "Alan Blaisdell" in here which I really appreciate. I recently changed my artist name to "Darksworn" due to issues with people not knowing how to pronounce/spell my name correctly, as well as more clearly stating that I am a metal artist. I also changed my discography slightly and combined my first two albums into one (and removed a few songs that I felt were not as great as they should be). I do not know how to fix this and tried looking into it, and was wondering if a mod/admin could make this change. I know you have tons of bands in the queue to review and are very busy in general.

To prove that I am in fact Alan Blaisdell and did change my stage name to Darksworn, here are some links.

Anyways, thank you very much for the help! I am in the process of trademarking the band name to ensure name changes will not be needed in the future.

For future reference, you can use the report function for changes you can't (yet) apply yourself. It's the button "report an error" in the right upper corner of an entry page.

I can take care of this right now, though. Just to make this clear, please don't update the Alan Blaisdell entry with information about the new incarnation, except for the mention of Darksworn in the "Years active" field. For our purposes, this is a major name change and thus Darksworn would get a separate entry, with the Alan Blaisdell one marked as "Changed name" and thus effectively "frozen" in the state of the project when the name change occured. The hypothetical Darksworn entry will be subject to our usual requirements, i.e. having at least one valid metal release (re-releases of material originally distributed under the Alan Blaisdell name would not count).
