Hi. I am doing an advanced search to know all the black metal bands that exist in Brazil. I am patient and I am looking one by one of the 1537 entries. I looked 150 bands in alphabetic order until now, fifty a day.

I found a band named DEVENUSTATUS , which does not have even a valid “Single” registered in the Metal-Archives, so I do not think it makes sense that this band remains registered on the website. The only thing mentioned is that they have recorded a demo called "Celebration of the Christ Fall'. I would like to hear the demo "Celebration of the Christ Fall", but I could not find it anywhere on the internet. I believe that any type of musical work related to a band's discography should be accessible to the public, especially when it is their only musical work.

Besides being able to find more bands, my objective is to collaborate with the website, and in my opinion, the band DEVENUSTATUS does not follow the rules of the Metal Archives. I will continue to look for more bands and I would like to inform you if there are more bands with this problem. Thank you for the attention.

I found this: https://www.flogao.com.br/lordbelialrj/12340613

Now, that in itself would not be enough to get the band accepted, but it stands to reason that some evidence was provided when the band was added and this information is simply not available anymore. That can happen and we don't delete entries based on that alone.

Well, technically any listed band does fulfill that or at least did at some point. In an ideal world we'd have easy access to any sort of listed music, but obviously that's not always the case and it would be absurd to delete bands who (no longer) meet that criterion.

This topic comes up regularly, see here for one previous discussion about it. In short, you shouldn't view bands without proper discography entries and only release mentions in the notes as inherently inferior, exceptional or rulebreaking. They are not "registered without valid release". A release was verified to the best of our abilities, just as with any other band. It's just that sometimes we know that a release existed and was distributed, but are missing crucial info like the tracklist or release year.

I understood. At the time of registration, it was proved that the band had an acceptable musical work for the site. Okay, this information was useful to me, and it will certainly make it easier for me to look for more bands. thank you
