I think it would be very helpful if we could display the genre(s) of whatever album we click on to know what it/they is/are. What do you guys think?

...doesn't the band's genre imply that?

No, because sometimes, bands expirent with different genres. Example: "Diabolus in Musica" and "God Hates Us All" by Slayer or Kreator's albums from 1992 to 1999.

Users have previously suggested that we should add genres for every individual album... but I remember the site owner confirming that it either will not or is very unlikely to happen. I'm sure the threads can still be found... according to my memory, it was decided that listing genres for every single album would create too much complexity and frustration, and some albums such as Therion's Lucid Dreaming are very varied thus difficult to list a genre. If you use advanced search to find albums, the band's genre is still shown... seems close to what you're searching for.

Very French :)

I meant to say "experiment". My cellphone auto corrected it before I realised it.

Ah, that would make sense. Anyway, your suggestion has come up before, and the response was quite a definite no, sorry. You might learn something from this thread: https://www.metal-archives.com/board/vi ... =3&t=99962
