Hey guys,

The 'Upcoming Albums' section on the landing page is extremely useful but it would be useful to be able to browse a list of recently released albums too.

With the amount of bands and releases sometimes there are some gems that slip through the cracks but having a list to refer to would help keep tabs.

Thanks for considering.

if you go to advanced search you can search for albums and a release date for the search and kinda look at the released albums:
https://www.metal-archives.com/search/a ... re=#albums
this also helps you see newly added bands who were not in the upcoming releases because they were only accepted after the album got released.

Ah excellent - this workaround will do for now. Thanks!

Hi. This is a workaround, and it works, but band genre is not shown. I think it should be easy to upload a new page, named New Releases, in the same way Upcoming page, but showing recent releases, ordered by date, first the most recent ones. Sorry about my English. Thank you in advance. Cheers!

The only real problem with the searching for releases by date is that I'm pretty sure it will show new versions of old releases along with actual new releases. So you may get all excited thinking bank X has released a new album, then find out that it's just some special vinyl edition of last year's album. You might as well just go look at the band page anyway.
