Hi, being fairly new to this site and that, post a link to the post discussing this if this issue has been covered because I can't seem to find it.

Anyway, I have added some lyrics to some songs of the band 'Stormtrooper' (https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Stormtrooper/1873) but now having found the actual lyrics of the song I want to change it.

Since the edit button for the lyrics is now greyed out for some reason I can now not correct the lyrics.

Is the solution just to spam "Report an error" for every mistake I make?

Well you shouldn't be adding guesswork to the site to begin with.... but yes. You do not have a high enough rank to edit information, flag a report.

Can a request be made for guesswork to be removed then? Because other people have been a hell of a lot more productive than me in that department

Absolutely. If you come across anything that is guesswork please flag a report and include evidence stating the proper information.
