I'd like to suggest to put collaboration albums into main category instead of misc, with bold font in the "Complete discography" tab. Or at least just bold font them.
Reason is that they mostly are real full length albums with original material, nothing short of anything the bands would have produced alone.
Examples of bands with collaboration albums are:

I have suggested this internally and I think there is some need for it, but I don't think marking all collabs as main albums is the solution. Otherwise releases like this are marked as main albums despite only being 12 minutes long. This collaboration is two songs and 8 minutes long. I've seen some collaborations that are just singles, etc. Certainly we wouldn't want these to be considered main albums.

My revised suggestion would be that collaboration releases have a checkbox on their edit page that only trusted users/mods can access which says "Main release?" and it is unchecked by default, but such users can check it if the album is explicitly marketed as a full-length (I would try to avoid marking these types of releases based on their length/perceived seriousness because we try to avoid making conjectures on what a band considers their releases to be).
