Recently after I reported a separate instrumental entry of an album (namely, Mechina latest) I was told by a mod, Krister Jensen, that 'Instrumental versions get their own seprate entries.' Honestly this is the first time I hear about that, is this really so and if yes, why e.g. Nightwish or Edenbridge or Equilibrium or Sabaton instrumentals haven't been separated from the original albums? Is that so because they went as parts of other editions, not as standalone releases?

This was a recent change, so no need to feel bad about not being up to date. Yes, we now list instrumental albums as separate entries. If the mentioned instrumental albums are not listed separately, that's likely because we haven't seen it or got round to it yet.

Hey Meatwolf, how are you ? Midnightwards666, practically sent me here to post the next that I noticed with respect to this topic, check: I looked the albums one x one and really there's a detail that you didn't noticed, the instrumental albums from Edenbridge, Sabaton, and Equillibrium are from of a 2CD, the 1CD is the normal album, the 2CD is the instrumental version, not from a release separated like in the case of Nightwish and Inferi.

ThStealthP, that's what I mentioned in my first post:

Yes, we only separate instrumental versions when they are released independently/on their own. Instrumental versions that are on bonus discs or otherwise only sold in combination with the regular album will stay in that version.
